SURVIVAL OF CONSCIOUSNESS AFTER DEATH OF THE PHYSICAL BODY

You might say: ‘How can I know that something I have never experienced is real? Have you ever seen an electron? We know of the reality of a number of things we’ve never experienced while in a physical body. Consider the following:

MY OUT-OF-BODY EXPERIENCE IN THE GREAT PYRAMID

Just before I left the body in the Great Pyramid, I the felt the motion of my body through space, including the Earth rotating around its axis, the motion of the Earth around the Sun, and the motion of the Sun in our spiral Milky-Way galaxy. Suppose that at that moment, at about 4:00 pm, February 27, 2010, the motions aligned, I would have been moving at the astonishing speed of 550,000 miles per hour! That is, I would have been moving at more than half a million miles per hour. And of, course, so would have everyone else at that location at that time. At any rate, even if the three motions did not line up, we were moving at more than 483,000 miles per hour, the velocity of the Sun around the center of the galaxy.

We do not normally feel the effects of these motions. Why? It is because of the stability of the spinning elementary particles making up our bodies. They are spinning at a much greater speed than the sum of all the motions mentioned above! They are spinning at or near light speed, that’s nearly 186,280 miles per second. There are 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute, so 60x60x186,000 = 669,600,000 miles per hour, compared with a mere 550,000 miles per hour of bodily motion.
