CAN WE KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE COVID-19 CRISIS?

WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

In the current situation, with the world awash in conspiracy theories, how can anyone know what the truth is? Very often, the debunkers of conspiracy theories have fewer actual facts about the subject in question, than the conspiracy theorists do. So, what to do? One answer is to do your own research. Try to find an unbiased source, and look for the truth yourself. This sounds so simple and basic, but is it? How does one determine the truth for one’s self? What is the truth about 5G? Is there a deep state? evidence Does anyone really have the time, patience, brain power, and intensity of effort to search for and find the truth about any very complex question like this? Or do we have to settle for what we believe, or can be led to believe, as the truth? This is not a trivial question!

I have been told that I have one of the highest IQs ever recorded. If that’s true, shouldn’t I be able to get to the bottom of just about any reasonable question that anyone might ask? Marilyn vos Savant of St. Louis Missouri, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as having the highest IQ ever recorded, has implied that she can answer just about any question. She has written and published a column called “Ask Marilyn” since 1986, where she attempts to do just that. One of the greatest recognized genius polymaths of all time, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, said “For every question there is an answer”. Well actually he probably said “Für jede berechtigte Frage gibt es eine Antwort“ - because he was German. Anyway, what I want to ask, and try to answer here, is the question: Can the truth be discovered by force of pure intellect alone? The answer is NO! And, of course, as you might expect, I am going to tell you why the answer is no, just in case you might like to know.

Pure intellect operates on the principles of logic. And one proceeds from question to answer by one or both of two methods of reasoning that are called induction and deduction. Induction is reasoning from the specific to the general, and deduction is reasoning from the general to the specific. Together, with some additional conditions, they make up the scientific method.

Induction: start with observations > detect a pattern in the observations > describe the pattern in the form of a hypothetical theory > if all observations conform to the pattern, accept the theory as true.

Deduction: Start with a theory that has been confirmed by induction > form a hypothesis about a specific situation > make observations > if the observations conform to the theory, accept the hypothesis as true.

The Austrian-born British philosopher of science, Karl Popper, declared that for a hypothesis to be scientific, it must be falsifiable. This has been generally accepted by mainstream scientists as part of the scientific method. What this means, in plain English, is that if a hypothesis, - general or specific - can’t be tested by inductive or deductive reasoning, then it isn’t a valid scientific hypothesis. However, if the falsifiability requirement is rigorously applied, most of the basic concepts that mainstream science is based on today cannot be considered to be scientific! The basic concepts underlying physical, biological, chemical, medical, and especially psychological science were just feasible assumptions, not falsifiable hypotheses. That’s a topic that Dr. Neppe and I have already discussed pretty extensively. The reason I bring it up here is that it illustrates an unescapable fact: pure intellectual reasoning cannot be used to determine truth!

To really understand why this is true, we have to look a little deeper into intellectual reasoning. Take anything you consider to be true, and look carefully at why you accept it to be true. You will find one of two things: either you have accepted it from someone else who is considered to be an authority, or you figured it out for yourself. In either case, the reasoning can always be traced back to what logicians call at least one a priori assumption. What is an a priori assumption? It is something that is believed to be self-evident and untestable. In other words, something that either appears to be so obvious that there is no need to prove it, or something that is not falsifiable. But, of course in that case, it is also unscientific.

My point is that intellect alone, however powerful, cannot determine the ultimate truth or falsity of a statement, because something proved by logical reasoning, is only true if the a priori assumptions it is derived from are true. The inductive and deductive reasoning process used in the determination of truth or falsity always start with a priori assumptions. This is one reason why scientific truth is always changing. The history of science, just during the last seventy years, which is about how long I’ve been aware of such things, is sprinkled with concepts that were once considered to be either true or false beyond doubt, that are now considered to be exactly the opposite. Scientific hypotheses proved to be either true or false, have often been overturned after a major scientific discovery. Examples of such reversals include Earth-centered models of the universe, Darwinian evolution, continental drift, single point human origin, the fixed size of the universe, and our understanding of the nature of space and time, matter and energy! We like to think that intellectual reasoning and the scientific method are infallible and that their application lead to the establishment of  universal truths that will never change, but that simply is not true.

So, what is truth? From an intellectual point of view, there is no such thing as absolute truth. What might be even more surprising to many, is the demonstrable fact that almost everything we think we know about physical reality is illusory. The idea that a physical object, like your physical body, is can ever be at rest in space and time, is perhaps the most beguiling illusion of all. I may think I am sitting completely unmoving and still in my chair in my home, but at this latitude, I am actually racing around the center of the earth at about 800 miles per hour, and at the same time I am moving around the sun at about 67,000 miles per hour. Why don’t I feel the effects of this motion? Experience with lesser motions tell me that I should. I certainly feel the effects of going around a curve in an automobile, or changing direction in an airline jet.  

Why don’t I feel the effects of whirling around the curvature of the earth or the curvature of the earth’s orbit around the sun? There is an answer for this question, having to do with the way the human body compensates for the effects of those motions, but it would take several pages to explain, and for the purpose of this post, it would be a side-track, so I’ll leave it for you to reason out for yourself, if you want to. The point is that things that we assume to be true in the physical world are often illusions created by our physical senses. There is growing evidence that neasrly everything we once thought we knew is wrong, and even what we believe now about physical reality we exist in may be illusory. This is at least part of the reason that scientific truth is a moving target.

There are many examples of how scientific truth changes over time. Modern science has revealed that, contrary to what our senses tell us, matter is not solid, space and time have no independent existence of their own, and we have no idea where everything came from, or where it’s going. The only thing about the physical universe for which we have indisputable evidence, is that it is dynamic. It is constantly changing. If some of those changes, like the movements of the sun, moon and planets weren’t cyclic or periodic, science wouldn’t be able to predict hardly anything, and our understanding of physical reality would be like shifting sand beneath our feet.

Mainstream scientists, philosophers and logicians would have you believe that there really is no such thing as absolute truth. Adding to this uncertain state of affairs, lawyers, politicians and liars, (but, as Mark Twain famously said, I repeat myself!) tell us that reality is whatever they can make us believe it is. They seek to persuade us to believe in realities that doesn’t actually exist. So, if our physical senses, lawyers and politicians work in ways that fools us, hiding more about reality than they reveal, where do we go to find the truth? The answer to this puzzling question is as simple as it is profound: We mut look to that which we experience directly.

We certainly do not experience the physical world directly. The sonic and optical sciences and related neurology make that clear. Our sense organs receive impulses of energy bouncing off of physical objects which travel along neurological paths to our brains, where images are formed that we take to be consistent with reality. But as we noted above, this process often creates illusions. What do we experience directly? That would be consciousness. But consciousness has been very carefully deliberately kept out of science and intellectual analysis throughout the history of modern civilization. The creation of a truly quantum calculus (see earlier posts) leading to the discovery of gimmel, the non-physical part of reality, changes all that. It allows us to put consciousness into the equations of science, and expand our analyses beyond the physical. Thanks to this discovery, we are now at the point where Nikola Tesla’s prediction may actually come true: "The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.”

Question: How does all this help us find the truth about the COVID-19 crisis? Answer: It gives us a way to determine the validity of any hypothesis, even a conspiracy theory. How it does this will take a little more explaining, but the effort on my part to present the explanation, and the effort on your part to read it, is, in my opinion, worthwhile. It will serve as another example of the power of quantum mathematics in the form of my Calculus of Dimensional Distinctions (CoDD), and as another validation of the Close-Neppe paradigm shift to a consciousness-based model of reality known as TDVP (the Triadic Dimensional Distinction Paradigm).

The good news is that once the most accurate, validated model of the crisis, developed in conventional math, has been converted to a corresponding quantum math model, and a specific conspiracy theory has also been converted into the quantum math as a hypothesis, that specific conspiracy theory can be falsified or validated very quickly and easily. The bad news is that the conversion of the model and the conspiracy theory to the equivalent quantum math forms can be very difficult and time consuming. Finally, when the truth is known, what can we do, and what should we do? These are important questions that we must find a way to answer. TDVP and the discovery of gimmel gives us hope, and a new, more powerful way to solve such problems.

THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, EVIL AND GOOD

THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP STATE

Do they exist, and are they behind the COVID-19 Pandemic?

My answer to both questions is yes, I believe so, but not necessarily in the way that you might expect. Let me explain by starting with my definition of good and evil: My research, discoveries, and thinking over more than 70 years have convinced me that the only reason there is something rather than nothing, i.e., the only reason that the physical universe exists at all, is for the purpose of the conscious beings within it to learn and grow, from being barely self-aware, to the transcendental state of Cosmic Consciousness. Anything that enhances that growth and moves us toward that goal is good, and anything that hampers, prevents, or moves us away from that goal is evil. For each of us, in my opinion, life is about how we make the choices confronting us that affect our spiritual growth and understanding of reality.

In my last post I suggested that if you believe “that there is no such thing as evil in this world, the coronavirus crisis is a wake-up call!” Does this mean that there is an actual entity called Satan, or ‘the Devil’ working behind the scenes to defeat us in our efforts to grow spiritually? How one answers that question depends on whether one thinks that Biblical scripture is literal or not. Most scholars believe that the Bible is more metaphorical than literal, and it appears that most Christians today must believe that too, otherwise why would there be more than 500 different versions of the Bible, in English alone? In my opinion, the reference in the original biblical scriptures to Satan as a “Fallen Angel” refers to the broken symmetry of physical reality that creates the illusion of duality, in terms that could be understood by people of Jewish and early Christian culture at the time the scriptures were written. But, while certain individuals act in ways that impact human spiritual growth negatively, it seems too severe to call those individuals incarnations of evil.

Certain historical figures are routinely thought of as evil because of evil things attributed to them, but it is questionable whether those people thought of themselves as evil or not. Adolf Hitler is a prime example. Most people today do not hesitate to think of him as an example of pure evil. However, the historical record shows that he certainly did not consider himself to be evil. He considered himself to be a devout Catholic throughout his entire life. And others of that era, like General Franco, the National Socialist dictator of Spain from 1939 until 1975, and the Pope of that era also considered him to be a Catholic Christian. Along with Franco and Italy’s ruler, Benito Mussolini, he signed agreements with the Vatican to protect the Catholic Church as the state religion of the Third Reich.

My point is that there probably has never been an individual, even one who committed reprehensible acts, now universally recognized as evil, who, in his own mind, was an agent of pure evil. In most cases, individuals committing actions against the spiritual advancement of humanity, do not think of themselves as evil, and may even logically justify their actions as “for the greater good”. That is probably true of those who may be behind the current coronavirus pandemic, and/or may be exploiting it for their own egotistical and political purposes.

Since I’ve been commenting on the COVID-19 pandemic, which is turning into an economic disaster affecting the lives of millions of people very negatively, several people have sent me links to video and audio interviews with a number of conspiracy theorists. I will not list them here, or quote them, because I do not want to be labeled as a supporter of any specific conspiracy theory. My desire is to present the facts as I understand them, and let others draw whatever conclusions they like. You may wonder why I am bothering to make the effort to comment on the current pandemic at all. Why should anyone care what my opinion might be? I am taking the trouble and time to write these posts because I believe that I am uniquely qualified to comment on the state of affairs today, for the following reasons:

·       I am a professional mathematical modeler by training and experience, and have made a living creating and applying mathematical models for more than 50 years. This is relevant because the current governmental shut-down is driven by mathematical models.

·       I was one of the seven charter members of the US Department of Interior Systems Analysis Group in 1969. This is relevant because it was a state-of-the-art modeling group, and it required me to be on the cutting edge of hierarchical modeling then, and I have endeavored to keep up with the art and science of mathematical modeling ever since.

·       I have studied theoretical physics at the Masters’ and PhD levels. This is relevant because it gives me a unique perspective on micro and macro mathematical modeling.

·       I have been involved in consciousness studies and research for more than 25 years. This is relevant because I have studied biology, neurology and psychology in the process of studying consciousness, which also gives me a unique perspective on the scientific modeling of human socio-political processes.

·       I earned a PhD in environmental engineering and have been a licensed and certified environmental professional (PE) for more than 40 years. This is relevant because it has made me uniquely aware of environmental sustainability problems, and as a PE, I have to adhere to rigorous professional and ethical standards.

·       I have studied and applied complementary allopathic and alternative health modalities for more than 20 years. This is relevant because the current crisis involves complex health and health-care issues.

·       I am a member of several of the most restrictive high IQ societies in the world. This is relevant, not because it makes me infallible - it certainly doesn’t - but because it indicates that I am capable of analyzing, understanding and solving complex problems.

·       I have travelled and worked internationally. This is relevant because it gives me unique insights into global environmental health, economic and political issues.

·       Finally, I am a human being, at least as deeply concerned as anyone else, about the future of life on this planet.

Because I have been self-quarantined for the last 26 days, for reasons explained in previous posts, I have been listening to the daily press conferences on the COVID-19 pandemic every day. Yesterday, two of the most highly-qualified doctors on the President’s panel of advisors told the press corps that the data input into the mathematical models being used to describe and predict the course of the pandemic, includes all the deaths of patients who tested positive for the coronavirus as deaths from the COVID-19 virus, regardless of what their state of health was prior to contracting the virus.

I almost immediately had several conflicting thoughts about this: 1) This data input choice means that the models are producing very highly inflated pictures of the nature and future course of the pandemic, because many of the people with pre-existing life-threatening conditions like heart disease and cancer, probably actually died from those diseases rather than the COID-19 virus. 2) this approach might be justified as providing a “worse-case” scenario. 3) If this was the justification for biasing the model so radically in this way, they should have explained that, but they did not. 4) This choice illustrates how mathematical models can be used quite easily to portray disinformation, especially if it is to the political advantage of someone who controls the modeling efforts. Let me explore this a bit farther.

As someone with a lot of mathematical modeling experience, I know that one of the most important steps in the mathematical modeling of complex environmental systems is the careful running of sensitivity analyses. Running sensitivity analyses for each of the input variables is an effective way of determining which of the variables have the most impact on the outcome predicted by the model. To be effective, a model as complex as those being used to model the COCID-19 pandemic, must have as many environmental, medical, logistical, demographic, and detailed patient data-input variables as possible. Every measurable variable that could have an impact needs to be included, and once the model is operational, sensitivity analyses can be performed by making incremental changes in the input data for each variable separately, and seeing how it affects the outcome. Very small changes in some variables may cause large changes in outcome, and large changes in other variables may not cause much change at all in the outcome.

Mathematical modelers should be focused on the construction, accuracy and precision of their models, and should never allow pre-conceived notions or awareness of preferred outcomes to have any influence on the development and application of their models. However, modelers are human beings, and such ideal attitudes and conditions are not always met. Modelers are often influenced by the desires and motives of their employers. The hiring and funding of modelers for industry, university or government projects quite often actually depend on the results of the modeling. A government agency, for example, especially one with political bias - which is often the case - will not use a modeler unless the expected outcome is favorable to their agenda; and if the first results from a model developed by a modeler they’ve hired is not to their liking, future funding of that model will not be forth-coming. Unfortunately, it is sometimes all too easy to tweak a complex model, in ways that are not obvious, to obtain desired outcomes.

The point here is that we should never trust a mathematical model funded by profit-motive industry, a government or group with a political agenda. Such models should be viewed with suspicion and analyzed, re-run and tested by independent modelers with no profit motive or political agenda before we place much confidence in their predictions. Unfortunately, in the case of a publicly declared pandemic like the current one, we do not have that luxury. As I have indicated in previous posts, I see a number of reasons to suspect that the COVID-19 shutdown of Western Civilization may be a deliberate strategy carried out by covert entities for specific economic and political goals. 

My conclusion, after carefully examining all of the available information, is that the COVID-19 crisis is man-made and that it was either created, and/or leveraged, for evil purposes, by evil people. Those people, operating covertly and lying to cover their actions, probably don’t think of themselves as evil, and may even think that they are acting for the greater good of mankind. But the outcome is evil, causing unnecessary death and suffering.

There is ample evidence that there are covert groups, existing both within and outside of the legitimate governments of Western Civilization – many of us have had contact with at least one or two of them - that want to implement a global social organization that will effectively destroy our way of life and restrict freedom of thought and expression of any ideas or ideologies other than those they expound. So, yes, the Devil and evil do exist. They exist in the hearts of those would control and enslave us! But, fortunately, we have the power to prevent them from taking over our world, as long as we don’t succumb to fear, which is their strongest weapon.

Despite their beliefs, they are weak, because they seek to hide the truth and promote evil. They lurk in the shadows; we rejoice in the light of the glory of God! We are the strong ones because our focus is on realizing the glory of God. Our strongest weapons are the freedoms to worship God in any way we please and to openly speak our minds. Their schemes to control us through hate and fear will fail. Our love of life, freedom and Spirit will prevail. This dark shadow of global pandemic will pass, truth will out, and the God-given opportunity to love, live, and openly pursue the happiness our hearts’ desire, will return. This is certain. Our prayer should be that it happens sooner, rather than later, to avoid more unnecessary human suffering.

CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN, WHAT CAN WE DO?

WHAT CAN WE DO?

During this world-wide crisis, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. That’s natural. But we must remind ourselves that we are not helpless. We can join together to fight this! But we must begin in Spirit. As a group united in Spirit, our individual passion and courage is not just additive, It is multiplicative. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18: 19-20). Whatever your ethnic, philosophical or religious background, if you accept the reality of the resurrected Christ, you have to realize that the Judeo-Christian religion and Western Civilization, your very way of life is threatened by the evil forces behind this pandemic.

If, because of the luxury and comfort of our way of life in the Western World, you’ve been lulled into believing that there is no such thing as evil in this world, the coronavirus crisis is a wake-up call! Wake up to the fact that there are people in the world, including in our own society, and even within our own governments, who want to see the Judeo-Christian way of life destroyed and its followers eliminated. This is not a political conspiracy theory, something that was only true in the past, or something that is only true now in obscure parts of the globe, it is a simple fact of life today, here and now.

We must harken back to the physical, mental and spiritual values of our ancestors. Especially those who established and developed the modern nations known as Judeo-Christian nations: Europe, Canada, The USA, Latin America, Australia, and Israel. There are some who will try to label the effort I am suggesting as a call for “white supremacy”. Nothing could be farther from the truth. What I’m calling for is for recognition of the equal right of cultural survival! Every culture has the right to survive. Calling it white supremacy is part of the strategy of the evil we face. However, this struggle against evil is broader than just a conflict between religions. It is a struggle between all of us who honor and revere the right to believe in a Supreme Intelligence, a Primary Consciousness greater than the human mind, and those who would force atheism on the whole world.

If you are European or of European heritage, you should be proud of your ancestors. I personally believe that I have a right to be proud of my European heritage. (My DNA analysis says I am 98% European.) I have this right just as every human being of any ancestry has a right to be proud of their forebearer’s accomplishments. Of course, no group of human beings is perfect, and I have long maintained that large organizations magnify our faults and failings as human beings. But, even though they did some things that were wrong, our European ancestors built the greatest nations existing on the earth today. Many of my European ancestors fought to preserve our rights of freedom, equality, and the pursuit of happiness in the Western World, including my father, who, even though he was of German heritage, as an American, he fought against Hitler’s German worker’s National Socialist Party (the NAZIs) in World War II. As Judeo-Christians, we should honor our ancestors. It’s Biblical! So let’s re-establish the honoring of our heritage, and our faith in God, whatever our national, cultural and religious background may be. Without that, we are nothing. With it, we can be a great force for good.

A few words about atheism might be in order here because it seems to be on the rise, especially among scientists. Atheism is not a valid metaphysical basis for science or for any worthwhile human activity. It does not even rise to the level of qualifying as a scientific hypothesis, because it cannot be falsified. (Goggle Karl Popper’s definition of science if you are not familiar with it.) I’ve written quite a bit about this, and you can find the logical invalidation of atheism in the archives of this blog.) The fact that atheism has been on the rise among scientists and subsequently in the general population, is a major symptom of cultural malaise. Because it is scientifically invalid, it is my opinion that atheism is a serious mental disorder, and most of those who profess to be atheists probably have a deep psychological problem consisting of the subconscious rejection of their own heritage and personal worth. To most of my readers, this discussion of atheism is a diversion, so let me get back to the subject at hand and the point of this post: What can we do?

The renowned Cultural Anthropologist Margret Mead put it very well: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. Always remember that you are absolutely unique, just like everyone else.” We can do a lot! Don’t underestimate the power of aa single soul, or the power of solidarity of spiritual will.

Don’t ever allow yourself to think: “I’m just one person, a nobody. What can I do? Anything I can think of to do is a drop in the bucket. It won’t have any effect.” The human story is bejeweled with examples of one, two or a few shining individuals, who changed history. Speak out on social media, it is the megaphone of our time. Speak up and share posts that you agree with. Find an effective way to make your opinion heard. Don’t be a pawn in anyone’s plan to rule the world. You are not just a little nobody, you are a child of the Most-High God, an immortal spiritual being, momentarily occupying a physical body. After the man-made evil of this crisis is over, seek the company of like-minded people again.

Make every effort to be well-informed. Don’t trust any of the partisan talking heads on Television who are trying to influence the next election. If you’ve been educated in the public schools in the last 50 years, you need to search for any unbiased records of the history of modern civilization that still exist, or talk to older people who lived through more of our history than most of you have. Why? Because you have been systematically fed a biased line of left-wing propaganda in our public schools. I’m old enough to remember World War II and what happened to the religious, social and political institutions of our world over the years since the end of “the Great War”.

There has been an insidious effort, starting quietly and slowly, but steadily increasing over the years, by proponents of left-wing ideology stemming from the dialectic materialism of God-less Marxism, to undermine the developing Democratic Republics established in the Americas by our spiritual European forefathers. I saw the infiltration of the principles of atheistic communist starting to creep in when I was a math teacher for several years in US secondary schools in California and Missouri in the early 1960s. I escaped into graduate school, and found the influence of dialectic materialism even stronger there. The atheistic forces of evil have been working behind the scenes in all  of our public institutions ever since, preparing for an opportunity like this viral pandemic. “let no crisis go unused” is their motto. 

In summary, if you are a person of faith, and especially if you are of European descent, whether you live in Europe, the USA, Canada, Latin America, Australia, Israel, or anywhere else, don’t allow your heritage to be sullied and trodden upon by anyone. You have a lot of reasons to be proud of who you are and what you believe in. Choose to be part of the growing resistance to the evil that may have deliberately caused this coronavirus pandemic, and is now definitely trying to exploit it in order to take over our world in the name of Communism, Socialism, the New World Order, or some other God-less form of communistic globalism. This pandemic is a wake-up call. You can do a lot. Make sure your voice is heard. Speak up on social media. If you are a US citizen, regardless of who the candidates are this November, vote your conscience, but make sure you conscience is guided by faith, not the false hopes and promises offered by politicians who want to buy your vote. Be encouraged! The righteous are strong in Spirit. My motto in the beautiful Dacian-Latin language of Romania is: In Duh suntem Unul! In Spirit we are One!

P.S. 4/7/2020:
I didn't mention in yesterday's post that among the things we can, and should do, is practice social distancing and all the guidelines suggested by various levels of government officials, and in some cases, get Covid-19 testing and/or implement self-quarantine. That's what I am doing. If you've read my previous posts about the coronavirus crisis, you'll know why. I was in Europe - Romania, to be exact - speaking at Science and Spirituality Conferences, when this crisis broke. Then, it is very likely that I was exposed to the coronavirus on on a 12-hour flight from Istanbul Turkey to Chicago on March 12, 2020. The flight was packed with people from Eastern Europe and the Middle East trying to get to the US before travel bans were imposed. Many of them were coughing and sneezing, obviouly exhibiting typical viral respiratory infection symptoms.

I expected the entire flight to be quarantined when we landed in Chicago, but it wasn't. I believe it should have been. Fortunately, I was enroute to a remote location in the Southern Missouri Ozarks via St Louis, so, except for possible contacts with a few people on the last leg of my return trip, and in the St Louis Airport (it was a late-night arrival) I was able to go into self-imposed quarentine within a day. During the next 14 days, I had no flu-like symptoms at all. Even though I am in the most vulnerable age group, I have a strong immune system and no underlying disease. I believe this is because I have a healthy life style, take therapeutic-grade essential oils and food supplements, and never take pharmaseutical drugs. I am, however, continuing my self-imposed quarantine because I may well be what they are calling an asymptomatic carrier of the virus. Meanwhile, I continue to pray for those infected and affected by this man-made crisis.

CORONAVIRUS, THE FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER OF OUR TIME

I am not a political activist. And I try to be apolitical in my posts. I am, however, on the other hand, a passionate activist for the advancement of a spiritual consciousness based search for truth. My intent in this post is not to accuse anyone or any enemy of complicity in the coronavirus crisis, or tell anyone how to vote. It is an attempt to raise some reasonable questions and to get people to think about how their own thoughts and attitudes may affect the future. My concern is that complacency may cause many of us to slip into the role of victimhood under the government mandated control of our lives during this crisis, and feel that we are powerless to shape our own future. It is my hope that, by exploring plausible causes and outcomes of the current pandemic, I can arouse some critical thinking.

Ask yourself if you think the spread of the strain of coronavirus that has resulted in the shut-down of normal human activity virtually world-wide, and destroyed the most robust US economy in history, was an accident?  One would hope so. But it is a uniquely American delusion to assume that everyone in the world thinks the way we do, and that given the chance, everyone would choose to live the way we like to pretend we do. We like to pretend that we live in a country with a government of dedicated, selfless people chosen by a well-informed citizenry, acting for the good of the people. Unfortunately, nothing could be further from the truth. We live in a country governed by greedy, power-hungry politicians who routinely manipulate public education and the public media in order to control public opinion and gain and maintain power; and not everyone in the world wants to live the way we do. In fact, if history has taught us anything, it is that there are always ideologies and people in other parts of the world who seek world dominance, and would happily kill as many of us as they possibly could in order to achieve the goal of world domination.

We know that the coronavirus was being bioengineered in China, and it may have been deliberately released by the Chinese Communist Government. Why would they do that? Consider the following: They saw that the US was bitterly divided and vulnerable during the impeachment proceedings. The pandemic may actually be the result of an act of biological warfare deliberately launched to destroy the US and world economy, giving the Chinese Communist regime the best opportunity they’ve ever had to literally take control of the world without firing a shot. Because Communist regimes do not place value on individual life the way we do in the West, they would gladly sacrifice a few hundred thousand Chinese citizens to achieve their goal of global dominance. It would even help reduce their population growth rate problem!

In the 1950s the Chinese government realized that their rapid population growth was soon going to exceed their available resources. They instituted forced birth-rate control, but they soon realized that that wasn’t going to solve the problem, so they developed a long-range plan that included making use of their growing population to provide cheap labor that would allow them to take over the production and distribution of things wanted and needed by the affluent and complacent citizens of the West, including pharmaceutical drugs. Before Donald Trump was elected President of the US, the Chinese Communists were enjoying an accelerating movement toward global economic dominance, which has been their stated goal since the 1960s.

Both mainstream US political parties played right into their hands by allowing creeping socialism to slowly cripple our government and military forces, and by pushing for globalism and the suppression of national pride. When Donald Trump was elected President of the US and began to reverse the trends that were bringing the Communist goal of dominance into view, they hoped that it was just a bump in the road, and that, because they had already achieved considerable dominance of the world market under the increasingly liberal policies of several previous US administrations, they could ride this reversal out, especially because the Democrats were busy impeaching. But as Trump’s popularity began to rise in spite of the impeachment, and the Democrats were weakened by exposure of their obviously underhanded partisan tactics, the Communist regime leaders realized that their goal of world dominance was in jeopardy, and that they may have to have a plan B.

Their plan B may well have been to release the virus in China; and they actually dispersed half a million infected citizens from the city where the virus was released, ensuring the rapid spread of infection, and then began an energetic propaganda program of misinformation to keep their own people in the dark, and hide their actions from the rest of the world. It appears that after they were sure that the contagious epidemic was impacting the intended target and crippling Western economy, they instituted stringent actions to mitigate the epidemic within China. Their misinformation machine, aided by Communist party representatives in the UN, the left wing of the US Democrat party and willing leftist US news organizations, was designed to shift the perceived blame for the pandemic from China to the US. Lulled into complacency by the opulence created by free-market capitalism, many Americans are gullible enough to be fooled by this, especially if they forget that one of the most basic principles of Communism is “The ends justify the means.” The loss of even a few million people worldwide is simply unavoidable collateral damage to dedicated communists, and a small price to pay if it allows them to attain their goal of world domination. Is this just another conspiracy theory? I’ll let you decide.

Are the Chinese Communists behind this - they are certainly capable of it - or is it someone else? Perhaps proponents of “the new world order”. It really makes no difference. If Americans think the inconvenience of stay-at-home and social distancing policies created by this man-made Frankenstein monster virus is rough, wait until a totalitarian governmental organization takes over as a global government. Expect a tidal wave of globalized citizens “peacefully” invading the West to take advantage of the opportunity to occupy rural areas of the Americas and ease the population pressures of the rest of the world. The tolerant liberals, especially the intellectuals, who willingly helped weaken Western capitalism and patriotism, will be the first to be rounded up and incarcerated and/or executed. That is almost certain to happen if there is a global take-over; we’ve seen it happen many times before in the history of our world, in every totalitarian revolution! Is this scenario inevitable? No, I don’t think so, but it definitely could happen if the people of Western civilization don’t wake up.

What can we do to avoid a totalitarian take-over, and a Biblical “invasion by hoards from another world”? We need to realize that while religious and philosophical tolerance is generally a good thing, it cannot be extended to political ideologies whose stated goal is to destroy us and our way of life. To be that tolerant is tantamount to suicide. In every instance where a free country has been taken over and controlled by a totalitarian ideology, whether it was the national socialism of NAZI Germany, Russian Socialism, Cuban, Venezuelan, or Chinese Communism, individual freedom has been curtailed, including the freedom to practice any form of religion other than that approved by the government. When the totalitarian ideology has as its metaphysical basis Marxist dialectic materialism, the state religion is atheism, and people who believe that there is an intelligence or a power higher than the government are summarily imprisoned and/or executed.

In our current situation, it is my opinion that the crises is very likely man-made, and is open to orchestration by covert totalitarian political entities, whether they created the crisis or not, to cease upon the opportunity to take-over the US and gain world dominance. It makes no difference whether or not what I’ve just described  is true, or, if true, who the covert political entity may be. It is a real and present danger! We should demand that the politicians on both sides of the political spectrum stop fighting with each other and realize that the real danger to Western Civilization is not the Coronavirus, global warming, universal healthcare, or any other politically motivated crisis. Free nations will find ways to survive such challenges. The real and immediate danger, a threat to our faith, lifestyle, and possibly even our lives and that of our children and grandchildren, is the possible take-over of the world by a totalitarian government. And that can only happen if we remain spiritually asleep and intellectually complacent. It is my hope that a significant portion of us will see this pandemic for what it is: a wake-up call. The future of the world is, to a large extent, shaped by public opinion. So, in a very real sense, right now, during this crisis, perhaps more so than any time in the history of our world, the future is in our hands. It is my opinion that we cannot allow a future without the God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, to happen. We cannot let the sweat, blood and tears of our ancestors to be shed in vain.  It is simply unacceptable!

I would like to say that the theme of this post, this blog and, even my life, is that the Story always goes on. The Story of Reality continues forever. Reality (or God  if you need to give it a name) is infinite. There is no beginning and no end. Beginnings and endings are nothing but finite human interpretations of change. Finite physical reality attests to this fact. The law of the conservation of mass and energy is the bedrock of physical empiricism, confirmed in every experiment ever documented. Now, the primary calculus of quantum reality, the Calculus of Dimensional Distinctions, the foundation of TDVP, has proved that this fundamental law of physics extends to consciousness. You are an immortal spiritual being. We all are. Some of us just haven’t awakened to that fact yet.

I am physically, mentally and spiritually blessed in that I am awake to the infinity of Reality. I have never been more aware of the infinity of Reality than during this transition period of my life. When my beloved wife and partner of more than 40 years, ascended into the realm of pure spirit December 15, 2018, an important chapter of my story was over. My finite mind said: “That’s it. My life is over. I’m finished.” But Jacqui called out to me from the spiritual side of Reality and said: “No! You must carry on the work we started. I have committed to helping you carry out the goal entrusted to you by our spiritual guides, and I’ll not stop now, just because I died!” (Details of the double-blind experiment proving that Jacqui is still a conscious functioning entity is documented in a manuscript titled Survival, to be published soon.)

Jacqui, who was very psychic from birth, was aware of our spiritual mission in this life before I was. Those who have read Secrets of the Sacred Cube, A Cosmic Love Story, have information about some of her prophetic dreams and visions. In 2012, when she experienced acute kidney failure, Jacqui told me that she would not live many more years, and that a younger person, a woman, would come forth to help, and that she would amplify our message of love and hope to a world sorely in need of spiritual rebirth. Before Jacqui left the physical body for the last time in this life, in December 2018, that woman had already read most of my blog posts, and exactly three months after Jacqui was ushered into Heaven by our Spiritual Guides, I received an email from Europe, that read in part:

Dear Dr. Close,  I am really aware of the special and difficult time you have just now. I know you are grieving. And you have the responsibility for Maximus. I don’t know if a trip to Europe would be a good idea or not. If not, please forgive me for my egoist proposal, wishing to have you here, in Vienna. 

All the best to you, your projects and Maximus!

So, the opportunity arose for me to go to Europe to speak about TDVP, and, perhaps, to meet the woman  Jacqui had predicted. My friend and research partner, Vernon, (Dr. Vernon Neppe) was, and is, a tireless promoter of our Reality model, so he was open to the proposal, and began at once to work to make it happen.

While planning the trip, the date for our first European conferences changed, and the location shifted from Austria to Romania for practical reasons. But, as time passed, I began to have some premonitions of danger. There were red flags during my meditations, warning me that there was a real potential for disaster related to this trip. As the departure date (February 27, 2020) approached, there were reports about the coronavirus outbreak in China, but there was no reports of cases in Romania, and no restrictions on travel. My age (I was born in 1936) technically placed me in the highest-risk age group. 

But, I reasoned: I am healthy. I have no underlying disease compromising my immune system, and I take food supplements with anti-viral essential oils every day. Nevertheless, I decided to have a complete physical, with blood and urine tests, cardio-stress test, etc. just to be sure. This would be my first trip involving an international flight since 2013, and I knew that it was potentially a stressful trip.

During the last leg of the flight, I worried about the proper way to greet my host, who I knew would be meeting me in the airport in Bucharest. A business-like handshake? A kiss on the back of her hand? A kiss on the cheek? When we actually met, there was no awkwardness. We instinctively embraced in a completely natural way. It was as if we had known each other forever! Not only that, when our eyes met, there was a deep connection, a wordless communication even, an energetic exchange from heart to heart! We couldn’t get enough of each other. After a few days, anyone with eyes to see, could see that we were in love!

I had originally planned to go to Israel for a week, and to Egypt for a week on my way home after the conferences, but with the premonitions of danger and the need for me to be back in Missouri to attend to details of the move from my home of 28 years to the new home being built in the Ozarks, I cancelled the Middle East part of the return trip. This freed up three days that I could spend in Romania. My new-found love and I were able to spend three wonderful days together.

On the return trip to the US, I spent 12 hours in close contact with people fleeing Europe, Asia and the Middle East, hoping to get into the United States before the travel ban. That 12 hours included standing in long lines in Istanbul Turkey, being packed into an over-booked Boeing 777 with hundreds of anxious people: individuals, families, parents, grandparents, children, and crying babies, coughing, sneezing and sweating, desperate to get to the relative safety of the United States. So, with the completion of my 14-day coronavirus quarantine, my life has been utterly transformed from stress, grief, sadness, and more stress, to the continuation of a joyful life with fulfillment, love. And happy anticipation of the future. Friends around the world who have heard about my new embracing of life, have sent inspiring messages of love and approval. This wonderful transformation in consciousness leads me to want to make the following observations:

Life is a spiritual journey. The ups and downs, however great, small, uplifting, disappointing, easy, challenging, rewarding, tedious, or painful, are all opportunities for spiritual growth, and they are the necessary steps in everyone’s journey to the attainment of eternal bliss, found only in ecstatic union with Reality. There are no absolute beginnings or ends, only change. Real love is unconditional, and those who love you will always rejoice in your success and happiness. To maximize the enjoyment of life, I suggest that whatever life brings, never react out of fear. Charge ahead at every opportunity to embrace life and live it with all the enthusiasm you can muster. Cultivate an attitude of gratitude, and live with the expectation that something wonderful is about to happen at any minute. If you do this, you will not be disappointed.

I spent most of the day yesterday unpacking dishes recently moved from my home of 28 years in Jackson Missouri. But, while doing that, I was thinking about a suggestion made by Grig Oprea of Academia Ars Moriendi in Bucharest Romania that she would like to see me offer some positive words of encouragement to the people of Romania and the rest of the world, to help us get through these worrisome times of the coronavirus scare. America, and most, if not all European countries, are virtually shut down now because of the coronavirus pandemic, and I have just returned from Romania a few days ago, just before travel bans were imposed.

My experiences with international travel at the time of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic provides a relevant background for this post. Like virtually everyone else in the civilized world, I have been directly affected by the shutdown, and like many, I am under a self-imposed 14-day quarantine because there is reason to suspect that I was probably exposed to the virus. My 10.5 hour flight from Istanbul Turkey was filled with people fleeing Europe and the Middle East, trying to get to America before the travel ban was to be imposed one day later. The plane was a Boeing 777, packed with families, people of all ages, crying, coughing, sneezing children, parents, grandparents, etc.

Many people think that mathematical models of reality, including TDVP, the model developed by Dr. Vernon Neppe and me, are theoretical constructs far removed from the every-day problems affecting real people. This is certainly true of string theories and any of the so-called Theories of Everything (TOEs) developed by theoretical physicists, but it is not true of TDVP. TDVP is the only model among potential TOEs that is fundamentally tied to physical reality and our consciousness of it. It utilizes a quantum calculus with the smallest mass of stable physical reality as the basis of all measurement, and it highlights the role of consciousness in the equations describing reality. This makes it unique: It is a model with a practical framework for solving real problems for real people. This is why Ms. Oprea suggested that we might be able to offer some practical insights into the coronavirus problem.

Conclusions about the nature of reality provided by application of TDVP principals tell us that, even though negative chaotic forces may invade our world from time to time, the real situation is that this universe of ours is a logically ordered system designed to support life. For billions of years, e.g., this planet has been circling a life-giving star, our sun, with the precision of finely-tuned clockwork. In a purely physical reality, this would not be possible. The physical law of entropy would not allow a logically structured universe to develop from a big-bang explosion in the first place. This bubble of meaningful information and purposeful order that allows conscious life to self-organize, flourish and evolve spiritually, has been protected from devolving into chaos by the logic and will of Primary Consciousness and is reflected in the will of the conscious beings currently populating our planet.

Application of the quantum logic of TDVP tells us that every process, event and change occurring in our reality always conforms to the all-encompassing logic of Primary Consciousness. In traditional spiritual terms, we might say: Even when things seem negative and chaotic, God is still in control. It may not seem that way, when we think that we are about to be overwhelmed by negative conditions like a viral pandemic. But in the final analysis, negative forces can never win. Not only because Primary Consciousness is actually in control, but also because we know now that, as conscious humans  beings, we participate in that control. What this means, is that your state of mind matters. The state of the consciousness of each and every conscious being contributes to the totality of the state of the logical system we call reality. Keeping a positive mindset in alignment with the innate structure of Primary Consciousness, manifesting as meaningful order (what Dr. Neppe and I call “ordropy”), is extremely important for our spiritual, mental and physical well-being,

So what can we do to make sure we survive the coronavirus pandemic scare? If you find yourself slipping into a negative state of mind, like the fear engendered by the coronavirus, turn your attention to your connection with Primary Consciousness. Primary Consciousness is present everywhere as the very fabric of reality, the logical consciousness substrate from which everything originates. Your connection with Primary Consciousness is to be found within you; it is your “I am”, the most intimate part of your being. If a feeling of negativity, like fear of the coronavirus persists, through your connection with Primary Consciousness, ask that that your attitude be changed. When that change occurs, you will realize that the logical structure of Primary Consciousness is the essence of reality shining forth like a bright star, and that negativity is like darkness; it has no existence of its own. Just like darkness is simply the absence of light, negativity is the absence of the innate logical structure of consciousness.

Finally, in the worst-case scenario, suppose you succumb to fear, you are exposed to the virus, you are among the one to two percent of those contracting the virus who will die, and your physical body ceases to function. The quantum logic of TDVP tells us that the conservation of mass and energy, one of the most basic laws of physics, extends to consciousness. So, as an individual manifestation of consciousness, you will not cease to exist. Because TDVP is not a theory, but has been verified by experimental data and unique experience, this conclusion that your consciousness will survive the death of the physical body is not a theory, it is fact, and your consciousness is immortal. Thus, we can say: “Death, where is thy victory, where is thy sting?” As the World War II leader of Great Britain famously said: “We have nothing to fear, but fear itself!”

It was very encouraging to find so many enthuastic Romanians listening intently, reflecting the fact that the Central Europe is ready for a paradim shift from the oppressive atheistic materialism of mainstream science to a science that includes consciousness as the primary essence of reality, These people are ready for a new approach which will provide a framework for the investigation of psychic and spiritual phenomena with the same, or even greater, rigor than that now applied to the mainstream physical, chemical and biological sciences.
