Putting Consciousness into the Equations: A Scientific REvolution

Many years ago, when I was a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, as part of course work I read Thomas Kuhn's works. He made the point that science advances in two ways: Most of the time, it is by steady growth, bit by bit, as many scientists toil away digging out details. But occasionally, there is a revolution, a new sweeping insight, when one or two scientists see something no one else has noticed, something outside the box. The history of science is studded with a precious few of these revolutions: Archimedes, Pythagoras, Descartes, Newton, Leibniz, Einstein, Heisenberg and Bohr, the names of those who created such revolutions are well known. New mathematics and new theories blossomed from a few exceptional minds. But there have been no scientific revolutions since 1935 when Relativity and Quantum Mechanics came on the scene. When scientists talk about a "breakthrough" these days, most often it is just the finding of something like the Higgs Boson, an accomplishment, to be sure, but hardly a scientific revolution, just confirmation of something the Standard Model predicted; nothing really new.

Now there IS new mathematics and a new theory! In TDVP, Dr. Neppe and I have put consciousness, mind and Spirit into the equations! Here are some details:

What we know about the elements of the Periodic Table is almost entirely based on experimental data from investigations of just four distinct elementary entities, known as the photon, the electron, the up-quark, and the down-quark. Table One lists these elementary distinctions with two measurable parameters that characterize them: charge and mass. In addition, the charge and mass data for the proton, composed of two up-quarks and a down-quark, and the neutron, composed of one up-quark and two down quarks, as basic components of atomic structure, are included in the table.

Normalization
Except for the electron, the data for the mass of the particles in Table One are presented as ranges of values. The masses of elementary particles, i.e. the up and down quarks, are indirectly determined as energy equivalents from particle collider detector and collector data. They are non-integer decimal fractions because the standards for the units of measurement (MeV/c2) do not happen to be integer multiples of the smallest possible mass. In the ultimately smallest possible quantized units, the numerical values of the actual masses of these particles must be integers, so we are justified in normalizing the data for purposes of comparison and calculation.
The normalized values in Table Two are obtained by simply taking the smallest elementary mass, that of the electron, as unitary. Then to convert the mass of the up quark and down quark into multiples of that standard unit, we divide the average of each particle’s range of empirical data by 0.511and round the results to the nearest whole number. Even if the basic unit we have derived in this way is not be the actual smallest possible unit, it will be a multiple of the real quantum unit, and the normalized values will reflect the relative proportionality of the actual masses of the particles. Because charge is a product of spin, we have also normalized it to avoid fractions by simply taking the charge of the electron as - 3. This normalizes the charge of the up quark to + 2 and the down quark to - 1. Again, as with mass, we are justified in normalizing the measure of charge because the standard unit, the Coulomb, is not necessarily an integral multiple of the actual quantum unit of charge, which may be either positive or negative. The balance, or zero sum of + and – charges in the decay process (called parity) reflects the operation of the Law of Conservation of Energy.

How do these different particles form? Consider a state, perhaps in the early, high-energy, high-temperature universe, when there was a great abundance of free quarks and decaying and decayed quarks, - i.e. less massive quarks and electrons. There would also have been other short-lived energetic by-products of quark collisions and decay like photons and neutrinos, radiating off to infinity, and perhaps there were other types of free particles like those created in experimental particle colliders, but we are focusing here on the decayed and decaying quarks destined to form Hydrogen atoms and the other atoms of the periodic table. We have presented relevant evidence and arguments for the following ideas:
1.      Elementary particles are created as the result of the interaction of the three universal processes of expansion, contraction and rotation or spin. Their cause is thus triadic.

2.      Reality exists within at least nine finite, sequentially-nested existential dimensions.
3.      We are only partially aware of five of these dimensions through our physical senses: three of space, one of time, and one of consciousness.

4.      The processes affecting the creation and combination of elementary particles to form meaningful structures are rooted in the dimensionometric forms of nine finite dimensions and one or more transfinite dimensions. The mathematical expression of this dimensionometric form is Σni=1 (Xn)m = Zm  (to be explored in more detail below).
5.      These particles are triadic in nature, comprised of a universal substance which manifests as matter, energy and consciousness interacting in the nine-dimensional domain.

The Origin of the Particles that form the Elements of the Periodic Table
How do particles form in the first place? Consider an elementary contraction in the substance of reality characterized as the drawing of a distinction. Call that distinction D1. We have posited that it is comprised of mass, energy and consciousness. As demonstrated in our discussion of intrinsic spin and the Cabibbo angle, this elementary distinction is rapidly spinning. With no external influence, and therefore no preferred reference frame, the distinction spins in nine dimensions, and each plane of rotation will cause it to resist movement like a spinning gyroscope. This resistance to movement, or inertia, is interpreted as mass. Since energy is quantized, the spin in each of the nine planes of rotation contributes one unit of inertia, and the particle will possess nine units of inertia. If we accept that these units are equivalent to units of mass, and normalized as we’ve done above, then such a particle is equivalent to the down quark in Table Two.
Under the entropic expansive action characterized by the Second Law of Thermodynamics, down quarks decay into up quarks, releasing a photon and a neutrino. This process, documented in many experiments, conforms to the Law of Conservation of Mass and Energy. Nothing is lost or destroyed in the process; a portion of the substance of the particle of rotational inertia simply changes from one form (mass) to another: energy. Table Three below illustrates how an elementary distinction, D1, recognized as the down quark, d, in experimental observations, decays to form other less massive particles. These new particles formed by natural entropic decay have the exact normalized inertial masses that are characteristic of the other two elementary particles, the down quark and the electron, the particles that make up all of the elements of the Periodic Table.

* Energy emitted is in the form of photons, Ɣ, and neutrinos. ve , one photon plus one neutrino = 4 normalized units. The energy of neutrinos and photons can vary, but, since energy is quantized, their energy can only consist of integer multiples of normalized units. There are some indications that neutrinos may have a miniscule amount of mass, so the neutrino emitted may have 1 unit of mass and one or two units of energy. The photon’s mass is zero, and its energy is proportional to its wave length, so the photons emitted in the decay process may have a wave length reflecting the energy of one or two units.
Notice that the four units emitted, identified as mass in the down quark, are either mass or energy in the photon and neutrino.  This indicates an equivalence between normalized mass units and energy, and more importantly, a transformation of the measurable aspect of the universal substance from mass to energy. We know that the transformation relationship between mass and energy is E = mc2. Since c2 is a constant, we may normalize the units of energy into units equivalent with our normalized mass units very easily as follows: The standard unit used to measure the energy of elementary particles is the MeV(one million electron volts) the standard unit used in measuring the mass of the particles in Table One is one million electron volts divided by the speed of light squared (MeV/c2), equivalent to 1.782662×10−36 kg., a very small fraction of a kilogram. So X units of mass in our normalized units in Table Two = X Mev/c2.  That occurs as a result of the Substituting m = X Mev/c2 into and E = mc2, we get E = X ∙ (Mev/c2 ) c2 = X Mev. Thus the units in Table Three are normalized equivalence units measuring both mass and energy. Any given number, X, of normalized units of mass in this table  is equivalent to X normalized units of energy.
We have also posited that the substance of reality is not just mass and energy, i.e. binary in mode, but triadic, existing in three forms: mass, energy and consciousness. Since mass and energy are measurable in normalized units, it is reasonable to expect that consciousness might also be. If, e.g., like mass and energy, consciousness is quantized, and each unit of consciousness is equivalent to a constant multiple of energy units, then consciousness can also be also be measured in multiples of these normalized units of equivalence, and the processes that form the elements of the Periodic Table can be described and analyzed using them. Even though we have not yet defined what a unit of consciousness might consist of, we may be able to define it indirectly relative to energy and mass in terms of the equivalence units. Extending the logic of E = mc2, the mathematical relationship between mass, energy and consciousness, C, is probably of the form: C = E(t/ C)I where t/ C is the ratio of the minimum increments at the border of the T and C domains just as c is the ratio at the border of the S and T domains, and I is > 2. Substituting, we have: C = m2 (t/ C)I.
Notice that no units of consciousness appear in the decay process depicted in Table Three because it is a natural entropic process. So why don’t all elementary distinctions simply decay in these three quick steps into photons and neutrinos that expand to infinity, resulting in a swift return to a state of maximum entropy, a state where there are no distinctions in the substance of reality? Regardless of how particles originate, something happens to counteract the action of the Second Law of Thermodynamics. What happens to perpetuate negative entropy? The answer lies in the conveyance of the logic of the C-substrate (dimensions 7, 8 and 9 of the nine dimensional domain of reality) into the 3S-1T domain of observation, by the intrinsic form of the dimensionometric domains represented mathematically by the equation Σni=1 (Xn)m = Zm and by the action of one or more units of consciousness to organize mass and energy into stable structures reflecting the logic of the conscious substrate. In order for quarks to combine to form the stable sub-atomic particles we call protons and neutrons observable in the 3S-1t domain, they must meet the requirements of the Conveyance Expression equation when m = 3 and n = 2 as integer multiples of normalized units of mass, energy and consciousness. This is where Fermat’s Last Theorem enters the picture.

Fermat’s Last Theorem and the Combination of  Quantum Particles
Consider the combination of two elementary particles to form a new particle. This may be modeled by the Conveyance Expression when n = 2 and  m = 3.
With n = 2 and m = 3, the expression Σni=1 (Xn)m = Zm  yields the equation (X1)3 + (X2)3 = Z3.
X1 and X2 represent the number of normalized units making up the particles, i.e. quarks, which combine to form the proton, P+ and the neutron, N0. (X1)3 and (X2)3 represent the volumes of two combining particles and Z3 represents the volume of the particle formed in the combination. In nine dimensions, at the sub-quark level, whether mass, energy or consciousness, the numerical measures of the spinning entities in normalized equivalence units are integers and dimensionometrically equivalent. They are therefore called Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence (TRUE).
Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence, or TRUE units, for short, are the Calculus of Distinction equivalents of the infinitesimals of the Calculus of Newton and Leibniz. The difference, and it is a very important one, is that TRUE units are finite and integral. While the value of the differentiation variable of a function in Newtonian Calculus may approach zero infinitely closely, the Calculus of Distinctions numerical values of both content and extent variables of the finite distinctions of mass, energy and consciousness are quantized and thus cannot be smaller than one TRUE unit. Thus the TRUE unit is the bottom, or limit of infinite descent for all variables. Because elementary particles are rotating extremely rapidly, regardless of the probabilistic distribution of density (such as that demonstrated in our analysis of the electron)6,  a TRUE unit occupies a perfectly symmetrical, or spherical volume.
Using the axioms presented above, and TRUE units, we will proceed to describe the processes that lead to the formation of the Hydrogen atom and the other elements of the Periodic Table. The values of the mass of the elementary entities, in multiples of the TRUE unit, are determined by normalization of experimental data as described above; the values of the energy of the entities, also in multiples of the TRUE unit, are calculated using the established mathematical relationship between mass and energy (E = mc2); and the values of the measures of the consciousness of the elementary entities in multiples of the TRUE units are determined by application of the Conveyance Equation and the assumption that a mathematical relationship, analogous to E = mc2 exists between energy and consciousness.
At the quantum level, to be stable quantum particles, existing as finite three-dimensional distinctions, each of these volumes must be equivalent to either the volume of a TRUE unit, or multiples of the volume of the TRUE unit. This means that X1, Y2 and Z must be integers.
Fermat’s Last Theorem tells us there are no integer solutions for this equation, which means that no two particles consisting of TRUE units, or integral multiples of TRUE units, can combine to form a new symmetrical entity. Such asymmetrical combinations of rapidly spinning entities will tumble or spiral, especially under the influence any external force, and will thus be far less stable than symmetric forms.
However, when n = m =3, the expression yields the equation
(X1)3 + (X2)3 + (X3)3= Z3,
which does have integer solutions. The first one (with the smallest integers) is
33 + 43 + 53 = 63
It is important to recognize that the equations produced by Σni=1 (Xn)m = Zm when n and m, and the Xi and Z are integers are exact expressions of the form of the logical structure of the C-substrate as it is conveyed to the 3S-1t domain. For this reason, we will call this expression the Conveyance Expression. This expression, generalizing the summation of n finite m-dimensional distinctions, and the equations it generates when all variables are integers, including the equations of the Pythagorean Theorem and Fermat’s Last Theorem, prove to be indispensably useful in the mathematical analysis of the combination of elementary particles.

The simplest symmetric form in three-dimensional space is the sphere, and as noted above, we can assume that the TRUE unit of substance is spherical. If the particles are also spherical, their volumes are 4/3 π r13, 4/3 π r23, and 4/3 π r33, where r1, r2 and r3 are the radii of the particles. But, since the volumes of the particles are integral multiples of the TRUE unit, r1, r2 and r3 must be integer multiples of the radius of the TRUE unit. So let r1= X1RT, r2 = X2RT, and r3 = X3RT where X1, X2 and X3 are integers and RT is the radius of the TRUE unit.  The Conveyance Equation representation of the combination of the three particles becomes:

4/3 π (X1RT) 3 + 4/3 π (X2 RT) 3 + 4/3 π (X3RT) 3

The newly combined particle is also spherical, represented by the expression 4/3 π (ZRT) 3, where, Z is necessarily an integer, and we have:

4/3 π (X1RT) 3 + 4/3 π (X2 RT) 3 + 4/3 π (X3RT) 3 = 4/3 π (ZRT) 3

Dividing both sides of the equation by all of the common constant factors: 4/3, π and (RT)3, we have:

(X1)3 + (X2)3 + (X3)3= Z3, where the Xi and Z are integers representing the number of elementary particles in each term.
Since spinning elementary particles are symmetric, and multiples of TRUE units, which are also symmetric, the fact that this equation has integer solutions, while the equation (X1)3 + (X2)3 = Z3 does not, tells us that for the elementary particles in Table Three to combine to form the most stable, symmetric compound distinctions, three particles, not two, must combine.
Note that this conclusion is independent of the actual shape of the combining particles and is even independent of the size and substance of the TRUE unit. As long as the particles have the same symmetrical form, the shape factor, in this case, 4/3 π (RT )3, cancels out. They could, e.g., be any of the regular polyhedrons like tetrahedrons, with four equilateral triangular sides, hexahedrons (better known as cubes), with six square sides, octahedrons, etc.
Just as the intrinsic structure of dimensional domains of three or more dimensions causes the combination of two elementary particles to be asymmetric, it allows the combination of three particles to be symmetric and very stable.
We will limit the scope of the remainder of this mathematical description to the five particles that make up the elements of the Periodic Table, namely the electron, the up quark, the down quark, and the two composite particles, the proton and the neutron. This set of particles form a finite physical system in the four dimensional domain of space-time. This means that these elementary particles are subject to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which is expressed through the process of universal expansion toward maximum entropy; but this tendency toward maximum entropy is opposed by the processes of contraction of the substance of reality into finite distinctions and high-velocity rotation and spin. We postulate that this substance of reality is triadic in nature, composed of mass, energy and consciousness. With the introduction of  the TRUE unit as the Calculus of Distinctions basic unitary distinction, and nine-dimensional spin as the dynamic nature of distinctions of  matter and energy supporting the logic of consciousness, we are re-integrating our understanding of physical reality with the awareness of the conscious substrate as the mathematically logical matrix from which physical reality originates.
Albert Einstein and Hermann Minkowski began this re-integration of the scientific description of reality with consciousness by recognizing the geometric nature of space and time as dimensional, establishing the concept of space-time4, and the nature of matter and energy as two different forms of the same substance. We are extending this integration to include the five additional finite dimensions indicated by the mathematics of Dimensional Extrapolation, and including consciousness as the third aspect of the substance of reality. Even though Einstein coined the new term “space-time” describing the new concept of a four-dimensional geometric domain, and established the mathematical equivalence of matter and energy with E = mc2, he introduced no new terminology for the generic substance of reality. We will use the terms “essential substance” or “essence” to indicate the substance of reality manifesting triadically as matter, energy and consciousness.
Consistent with decay from the strange quark, stabilization through the Conveyance Equation and the participation of TRUE units of consciousness, the following tables describe the electron, up quarks, down quarks, protons, and neutrons. The elements of the Periodic Table, derived from these tables tell us a lot about how the elements are formed, how consciousness is involved, and how living, conscious entities are an integral part of the reality we experience.

Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence (TRUE)

We think of "mass" as the essence of solid matter; we think of "energy" as that which moves things; and we think of "consciousness" as the awareness of matter and energy existing in space and time. Einstein proved that matter and energy are two forms of the same thing, and that space and time are two aspects of the same geometry. We have gone the next step: Our hypothesis is that all finite phenomena are actually the same thing in different forms. I've defined the TRUE unit as the most basic measure of all three content aspects of reality existing in extent at the quantum level. A TRUE unit is a unitary integer representing the smallest possible unit of mass, energy and consciousness (3 forms of content) existing in space, time and infinite consciousness (3 forms of extent).

Quantum Physics and the Periodic Table Breakthrough Details

This is a note to bring you up to date with my research. I worked late into the night for several nights on the math of the Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence (TRUE units for short) and the Periodic Table. The CoD description worked out, but the standard notation was difficult. I worked on it non-stop in spite of a heavy consulting workload because I believed I had to. If the USA Today article breaks out the way we believe it will, I want to be ready. The mathematics, somewhat different than conceptualization and verbalization, MUST BE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. I worked right through Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights, and I was sick Tuesday and Wednesday. I think part of the reason I got sick was because I encountered a frustrating roadblock Monday night. I kept coming up with fractions in the application of TRUE units to describe the process of particle decay that produces up quarks from strange quarks and down quarks. This meant that the TRUE unit I was using was not the real TRUE unit, but a multiple of the real TRUE unit. With the help of several hours of sleep, food, food supplements and frankincense and myrrh, I was feeling much better yesterday. So I ignored my consulting jobs again and worked on the TRUE unit problem all day, until about midnight last night. Finally, I discovered that the TRUE unit I had been using was actually 9 times the equivalence unit that would make all the fractions disappear. So, with the really unitary TRUE unit, I have to recalculate the mathematical descriptions of the structures of the elementary particles and then the elements. With the new TRUE units, the electron turns out to be the building block of all the elementary particles, and the electron consists of 9 TRUE units of mass, 12 TRUE units of energy and 15 TRUE units of consciousness. This is the key to a new mathematical dimensionometric understanding of the structure of the Universe.

Why is there Something rather than Nothing?

Why is there Something instead of Nothing?
Metaphysics is defined as the study of everything that can be said to exist. Given that something does indeed exist, imagining the absence of everything that exists, leads to the conceptual idea of nothingness. Does “nothing” exist? Ever since philosophers and theologians have cogitated about the nature of reality, there have been endless debates over whether an empty universe is possible, whether an absolute vacuum can exist, and about the origin of the universe itself: Did “something”, -in fact, all the things we experience, - emerge from nothing?
At least one philosopher, Martin Heidegger, believed the question of why there is something rather than nothing to be the most fundamental issue of philosophy. 1;2 The polymath Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, in his “Principle of Sufficient Reason,” 3 posited that there is an explanation for every fact, an answer for every question. “This principle having been stated,” Leibniz wrote, “the first question which we have a right to ask will be: ‘Why is there something rather than nothing?’”
Imagine my excitement, when I discovered that the application of my Calculus of Distinctions 4 and Dimensional Extrapolation 5 to the description of the formation of the Hydrogen atom, tritium and all the elements of the Periodic Table 6, answered this question! It turns out that the question ‘Why is there something rather than nothing?’ arises from a misunderstanding, or, more accurately, an almost complete lack of understanding of the relationship between Space, Time and Consciousness, the triadic domain that contains all mass, energy and thought.
The idea that there can be ‘something’ called ‘nothing’ is soundly refuted by application of the Calculus of Distinctions to Quantum Mechanics. In other words, in our universe, a universe known to be built of quanta (subatomic units of specific, limited size), there is no such thing as nothing!
Understanding the nature of Time as a three-dimensional domain within which the three-dimensional domain of Space is contained, leads to the logical conclusion (spelled out by the Calculus of Distinctions) that there are no absolute beginnings or ends: only change. The erroneous idea that the universe could have had an absolute beginning, and thus might have an absolute end, comes from our limited perception of reality obtained through the physical senses: We see things come and go, people being born, living for a while and dying. But if we look a bit more closely at what really happens, we see that nothing is actually destroyed. Application of the Calculus of Distinctions reveals that the universal Law of the Conservation of mass and energy, long validated by experiment, and long accepted in the physical sciences, extends to all things, including Space, Time and Consciousness. In other words, Reality, including the universe and all that is contained within it, has always existed in some form.

The Blazing Diamond and the Quantum Jewel Press Release

Here I am in the Ancient City of Petra, in Southern Jordan, with my trusty ship of the desert. Why am I posting this picture with the press release on a new quantum physics breakthrough? Do I have to have a reason? It's one of my favorite recent pictures. It proves that I get around, and anyway, all things are connected at the quantum level!
Here's the press release as it is now. Erin Morgart, a writer/consultant for USA Today, is enthusiastic about getting into the paper soon.

November 1, 2013, Seattle, WA:

______

The Blazing Diamond and the Quantum Jewel: Two major discoveries in quick succession

The groundbreaking Close-Neppe 9D spin derivation is supported by the latest ‘Quantum Jewel’ finding.
The Close-Neppe Discovery represents a major realignment of Standard Physics with the broader Reality of human experience.

By Erin Morgart
__________

Quantum Physics has expanded rapidly in 2013 thanks to the discoveries of two sets of elite scientists, working separately. 1, 2

Close and Neppe: The Sparkling Diamond:
In July, 2013, Edward R. Close and Vernon M. Neppe announced their discovery that there are actually nine finite dimensions 1, 3Our day-to-day experience is one of experiencing our physical reality—the length, breadth and height of objects. These three dimensions of Space change with every new moment in Time. These features reflect the first four dimensions. The idea that there are nine spinning dimensions means that much of our actual reality is hidden.” explained Dr Neppe.
The Close-Neppe mathematical derivation allowed these scientists to demonstrate the solution to some of Physics’ most remarkable mysteries1, including elucidating the Cabibbo angle and intrinsic spin. 1, 3 The Cabibbo angle, a measure of the probability of a certain kind of particle decay, had been found to persist at a very strange angle (13.04 degrees). The reason why it was that specific size could not be explained by the Standard Model of Particle Physics, and consequently, it had remained unsolved for 50 years since its discovery by Nicola Cabibbo in 1963: It could only be solved by applying the correct number of spinning dimensions (namely 9). As Dr Close elaborated, “this 9-dimensional spin finding opens the door to demonstrating a radical new concept of reality: Our recent findings suggest we can now move beyond this seemingly strange and inexplicable angle of elementary particles to understand the interaction with the observer’s consciousness. That is why the 9-dimensional (9D for short) spin finding appears to be so impactful.”
The 9D derivation required a logical basis: This is provided by the ‘Neppe-Close TDVP’ (technically TDdVP) 4 model, a proposed so-called ‘theory of everything’. TDdVP describes the Triad’ of Space, Time, and Consciousness all being inseparably tied (‘tethered’) together; TDVP involves carefully defined ‘dimensions’ and uses a new mathematical technique, the Calculus of Distinctions. TDVP requires spinning movements (Vortices). It reflects a major paradigm shift that appears feasible mathematically, in the broader sciences, and also results in a philosophical model. Even prior to their latest findings, Dr Adrian Klein, the contemporary Israeli Dimensional Biopsychophysicist and Consciousness Researcher, an expert on Theories of Everything, and the pioneer of the ‘Subquantal Integration Approach’, markedly endorsed the Neppe-Close model. “TDVP is a work that will change mankind's future. It is a monumental work forcing obsolete preconceptions to crumble. This is a seismic shift in understanding the understanding process itself!”
The Close-Neppe 9-dimensional derivation was postulated by TDVP; conversely, the 9D discovery confirmed that component of the TDVP hypothesis. Pertinently, this 9D spin demonstration is quite different from String Theory. Close clarified: The ‘strings’ in the various String Theories generally involve the ‘curling’ or ‘folding’ into extra dimensions, and do not usually regard ‘spin’ as the major requirement for more dimensions. It’s an irony, too, that String Theory apparently remains unproven mathematically—that is why it’s a ‘theory’. In addition, no String theories I know of, have a total of 9 dimensions. But, perhaps most pertinent of all, String theories do not involve any kind of consciousness and do not generally specifically postulate Multidimensional Time, often speaking of poorly defined space-like or time-like ‘spaces’. 3 By contrast, our TDVP model is based on sound logic, scientific evidence and mathematics3. It produces strong empirical evidence for more than one dimension of time, and argues for the profound need for consciousness to be included in any equation describing reality.”
In summary, the 9 finite dimensions appear mathematically feasible, yet applying the math to any other dimensions, like the 10, 11 or 26 as in some String Theories, or the 4, as in our experience of our day-to-day reality, produces errors: TDVP scientifically and mathematically motivates multiple dimensions, and Close and Neppe show that there are likely 3 carefully defined dimensions each of Space, Time and Consciousness. For Close: “Mathematically, the spin is the key: These rotational movements—the ‘vortices’—allow a way to move through dimensions.” These scientists had to develop new mathematical techniques to derive their information: These include the ‘Calculus of Distinctions’ (the ‘Sparkling Diamond’) and ‘Dimensional Extrapolation’ 3. They also, of course, relied on already well-established conventional mathematical techniques to help in the exploration of the many ‘extra’ dimensions.

The Quantum Jewel: Arkani-Hamed and Collaborators
The second major 2013 event in Mathematical Physics occurred in September. Quanta Magazine published an article “A Jewel at the Heart of Quantum Physics” 2. The author described how physicists, Nima Arkani-Hamed, Jaroslav Trnka at the Institute for Advanced Study, along with other collaborators, discovered a new technique for applying multidimensional mathematics and pointed to the relevance of spin by incorporating ‘twistors’ 2.
Arkani-Hamed and collaborators discovered that particle interactions may be based on a multi-faceted geometric shape, the ‘amplituhedron’. This looks like a metaphorical intricate, multifaceted ‘jewel’ in higher dimensions, so much so that these scientists could be referred to as the ‘Jewel Scientists’. Their findings significantly simplify multidimensional math, and change ideas about space and time locality and the so-called ‘unitary elements’.2 Their general finding indirectly motivates the feasibility of more easily deriving multidimensional quantal particle structures, and would therefore indirectly support the earlier-announced more specific Close-Neppe discoveries1.
Just as Close and Neppe had derived a 9-dimensional spin mathematical finding to explain elementary particles, the math of the Jewel scientists also negated the idea that all quantum physics could be conceptualized purely as properties of four-dimensional physicality: Both groups demonstrated mathematically that quantum physics simply cannot fit ‘locally’ into the geometric ‘unit’ that was previously regarded just as three dimensions of space and a moment in time. Instead, they supported the view that quantum realities can be simplified when conceptualizing new structures in higher dimensional realities, making calculations with the appropriate math much easier.
“Our 9-dimensional spin mathematics can be regarded as very simple”, Close explained. “Our new mathematical techniques for describing multidimensionality begin with the fundamental application of ‘distinctions’. We then recognize that observational perception is relative, and that what is regarded as ‘non-local’ may be non-local only relative to the particular dimensional domains being considered.” Neppe amplified: “Indeed, our finite reality consists of discrete components—these are quanta: We could think of them like the ‘pixels’ on our TV, but these are much, much, much tinier fundamental units. But these ‘pixels’ are not just contained in the 3 dimensions of space and single moment in time we actively experience all the time: They’re actually in nine dimensions—it’s just we cannot directly experience most of them. But they’re still always happening in the background.”
We could predict that the two metaphoric findings of the ‘Jewel’ and the ‘Diamond’ may ultimately work synergistically with each other: Close and Neppe’s 9-dimensional spinning reality might be a specific applicable derivation of the mathematical applications of Arkani-Hamed and collaborators. But, even if that link were shown, in addition to the more obvious ostensible similarities such as the multidimensionality applying simplified math, there are some pivotal differences between these two momentous 2013 findings: It begins with a metaphorical ‘diamond’.

The Diamond in it all: The Calculus of Distinctions
The work of Neppe and Close could be regarded as including its own possible metaphoric jewel, a multifaceted diamond in stature, because of the fundamental quality and durability of the mathematical technique, called the Calculus of (Dimensional) Distinctions (CoD). CoD has many creative and unique facets:
·         It reflects the most fundamental logical system to approach Reality.
·         It allows applications across different dimensions, recognizing the distinctions between our different kinds of experiences, and how the mathematics can be applied at different dimensional levels.
·         It allows conceptualizing conscious awareness, differentiating our experience at the most fundamental of levels, and ultimately realizing the relative nature of the hidden dimensional realities of existence.
·         The CoD distinguishes 'variables of extent, content and impact'. These are applied to ensure that the dimensional, the substantial and the influences on events or objects are differentiated: consciousness is a critical common element in all of these.
·          It recognizes the key experiential roles of subjective ‘perceptions’, ‘conceptions’ and ‘interpretations’: What to us is experience in everyday reality, may be quite different at, for example, the sixth and seventh dimensional domains.
·         The CoD also allows for integrating the complex algebras and multidimensional geometries. This is possibly its most practical use.
We are driven to ask: “Is the Close-Neppe Calculus of Distinctions the metaphorical Diamond of Scientific Jewels?” Neppe answered carefully: “Yes, it seems to be a major new discovery,…but the full implications are still tentative. Just as Einsteinian relativity required a ‘thought experiment’ for many to understand, we’ve applied the same here by replicating our original TDVP Cabibbo angle findings of a finite 9-dimensional spinning model.” Dr Close elaborated on this just completed derivation. “I began with a simple Rubik's Cube to be able to mimic simple rotations. I then extended this to the CoD to demonstrate with a thought experiment that there are indeed 9 finite dimensions in quantum reality, and that (as we had postulated before) 8 of them are spinning. We appear to have 3 dimensions of Space, 3 of Time and the rest are Consciousness dimensions.” Neppe extended the metaphor: “If the ‘Jewel’ is a new, easier mathematical way to represent millions of calculations, then the ‘Diamond’ is the new, fundamental and basic unification that is reflected in the Calculus of Distinctions. It certainly allows for the jigsaw puzzle pieces to fit, one step at a time.”

The missing link: Consciousness
Arkani-Hamed and their collaborators follow the giant footsteps of the remarkable pioneering early 20th century work of the great multidimensional theorists (Albert Einstein, Hermann Minkowski, Theodore Kaluza and Oskar Klein) and of the later String and Superstring theorists. But they, too, have not included something the ‘Diamond Scientists’ regard as fundamental.“The key missing element is the involvement of a very specifically defined broader form of ‘Consciousness’ beginning at the level of the most basic quantal particles, or just possibly even subquantally, and proceeding to include a deeper understanding of the entire cosmos.”
The role of Consciousness has largely been ignored, despite Bell's theorem and the follow up work of Aspect and others in communication at a distance, the delayed choice experiments and the split screen work, all strongly motivating this. 3 “We realize that any term pertaining to ‘Consciousness’ evokes controversy. And many physicists interpret all this research as not involving any ‘consciousness’: An independent ‘consciousness’ simply does not fit into a physicalistic four dimensional paradigm. But the nine dimensional spin mathematics works when we apply consciousness in the equations, and we believe that there is solid scientific support based on research.3 In TDVP, we’ve motivated for Consciousness being its own substrate along with Space and Time. Applying it, allows its seamless application across not only the Physical, but the Biological, Psychological and, indeed, the Consciousness Sciences. Without it, we return back to a situation where even esteemed scientists, like Einstein, could not solve the multidimensionality problem. Adding consciousness fills the void that was missing.” Neppe added.
Close carefully, but still excitedly, added to Neppe’s comment: “This change of perspective including ‘consciousness’ makes sense of many unexplained physical observations. Previously intractable mathematics now yields to simplified calculations that work and markedly change our view of higher dimensional existence: In this new kind of Particle Physics, a key concept that I have just discovered (October 2013) is what we’re calling the ‘Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence’(TRUE). This is allocated to elementary particles in the chemical elements of the Periodic Table, and by logical extension to molecules. We propose that this may offer a new understanding of the fundamentals of reality, and based on our preliminary findings, even, possibly, of life,” This new research is still in process, but is a logical continuation of the 9D thought experiment. These findings are still being checked; if shown to be correct, they are extraordinarily exciting in their implications for Space, Time and Consciousness.

The dollar in the mint: The demonstration of existence
Close and Neppe’s mathematical derivation of a previously incomprehensible, largely unheard of angle was new, yet this angle could be experimentally measured using complex particle colliders long before their discovery. To Neppe: “The Cabibbo angle itself may appear to be a minor, esoteric angle, but our perfect math derivation of it proves the existence of a 9-dimensional finite spin reality. This is not based on a guess or a mathematical generalization. Instead, it’s a real, now demonstrable mathematical derivation of finite reality. It demonstrates the presence of 9 dimensions, and, like a dollar demonstrates the mint, it confirms that a major hypothetical component of our TDVP ‘theory of everything’ model is supported. And now that our original finding has apparently been replicated by a thought experiment, we are more confident in applying new concepts like intrinsic spin and the TRUE. Indeed, it is our hope that applying a 9-dimensional spin model can open doors to many facets of Particle Physics, and, also, in understanding our perspective of the Cosmos and finite reality. That is what is so important.”

Natural imperfection: Symmetry or asymmetry in our cosmos?
The Close-Neppe partnership discovered two other remarkable theoretical findings on 9-dimensional spin. Neppe explains: “Firstly, we always think of our world as being largely symmetrical. This may be so in the world that we directly experience— the four dimensions that we’re so familiar with. But this symmetry doesn’t apply beyond that when we calculate the higher dimensions of reality. This lack of symmetry is a mathematical one. As an example, an elementary particle, like an electron, exhibits ‘intrinsic spin’—it rotates on its own axis, but this spin does not have a perfect symmetry. Close adds: “And the second remarkable finding reflects a fascinating principle: Even though there are nine finite dimensions, these miniscule particles only appear to be rotating through eight, not all nine, planes. Why? Because the first dimension serves as a reference—the rest of the rotation is relative to that first dimension.” 1, 3

The hidden reality: The practical direction
Whereas the Arkani-Hamed researchers may focus on more transient unstable state particles like gluons2, and other Particle Physicists may concentrate on other particles which seldom exist, like the so-called ‘God particle’, the Higgs-Boson, these tiny particles may be limited to Particle Accelerators and Colliders. 3 As Close puts it: “A far more practical approach, as we have done, is to focus on elementary fermion particles that are not transient, but fundamentally maintained in stable reality existence, like the quarks and electrons in the hydrogen atom. Such an approach becomes far more central to the limited structure of reality available to our physical senses.”
The Arkani-Hamed release seems to support the Close-Neppe 9D spin models because it emphasizes the role of the multidimensional in Particle Physics and appropriate ways to simplify mathematical concepts. But the two scientists, Vernon Neppe and Edward Close, have also advanced Particle Physics, as well 5: They have, controversially for many, motivated Consciousness as a core component of both TDVP and 9 D spin; and they have argued that Consciousness needs to be necessarily always linked to Space and Time. Their use of the CoD, Dimensional Extrapolation and other mathematical techniques, seem to have facilitated a further application of multidimensional geometry, algebra and physics; and the spinning of elementary particles apparently explains the lack of symmetry in the higher dimensions. As Neppe says: “There are certainly hidden realities that exist outside of our confined, limited human experience of 3 dimensions of space embedded in a single moment in time.”

Important New Findings

Dr. Neppe and I are putting the final touches n a press release that announces new findings. Our 9-dimensional spin findings open the door to demonstrating a radical new understanding of reality: Our recent findings suggest we can now move beyond the seemingly strange and inexplicable aspects of quantum mechanics to understand the connection between elementary phenomena, observation and the observer. That is why the 9-D spin finding is so important. Stay tuned. The press release, when finalized, will be posted here.

Dr. Close's One Minute Quantum Physics Lecture

DR. CLOSE’S ONE-MINUTE QUANTUM PHYSICS LECTURE
We hear the term “quantum” thrown around every day: quantum theory, quantum computing, quantum leap, quantum this, quantum that,  … I’ve even seen ads for quantum fishing gear and quantum underwear! What the heck is a quantum and why do I need to know anything about it?
In 1905, two brilliant scientists made the most important discoveries in the history of science: Max Planck discovered that energy only occurs in multiples of a very small unit: the quantum. And Albert Einstein discovered the geometric relationship between space and time. Each of these discoveries created a major paradigm shift, but there has been no comparable shift in the scientific paradigm since that time.
Why do you need to know about the quantum? The quantum is the building block of the universe. Everything from atoms to molecules, plants and animals, human beings, my brain and your brain, From rocks to water, fire and air, rivers and mountains, Planets, solar systems, galaxies, … everything from the smallest particle to the entire universe, all of it is made of quanta.
But a single quantum is extremely small, far smaller than the smallest thing we can see with the most powerful microscope. About one million, five hundred thousand trillion quanta can “dance” on the (1.5 mm) head of a pin; far more than all the grains of sand on planet Earth. This is about one million times the number of stars in our “Milky Way” Galaxy.

But the reason you should want to know about quanta, is because, at that very small scale, matter, energy and consciousness work together to form the reality we experience. In other words, Reality is made up of quanta of matter, energy and consciousness.
This is the basis of TDVP, the new paradigm shift. It is the culmination of more than fifty years of research!
