EXPLORING QUANTUM REALITY

Because the senses of the physical bodies we inhabit on this planet are limited to perceiving only very small fractions of the vast ranges of space, time, mass, energy, and consciousness that actually exist, we are normally unaware of the overwhelming majority of reality because it exists beyond the limited focus of the physical senses developed for the purpose of physical survival on this planet. It is necessary for evolving consciousness to gradually increase awareness over many lifetimes of sentient beings in order for individuals to be able to learn to expand their individualized consciousness toward the eventual grand goal of Cosmic Consciousness.

The limited finite awareness of conscious beings exists roughly in the middle of the range of density and intensity of mass, energy, and gimmel that make up reality, which exists from the finite quantal level to the cosmological whole, expanding toward infinity. The quantum level is more accessible to us, for one simple reason: As quantized consciousness expands in all directions, there is a ‘bottom’ to reality at the quantum level, while expansion in the opposite direction goes on toward infinity forever. The primary building blocks of reality exist at the quantum level and it is for this reason that derivation of a  functional quantum calculus is so important for the continuation of the development of science.

It is clear that Max Planck understood the need for a quantized mathematical approach to the task of understanding reality. He developed a quantized system of measurement, that is now known as Planck units, in an effort to accomplish that. It didn’t evolve into a complete quantum calculus for a number of reasons, but it was a definite move in the right direction. He wrote:

 

“... die Möglichkeit gegeben ist, Einheiten für Länge, Masse, Zeit und Temperatur aufzustellen, welche, unabhängig von speciellen Körpern oder Substanzen, ihre Bedeutung für alle Zeiten und für alle, auch außerirdische und außermenschliche Culturen notwendig behalten, und welche daher als »natürliche Maßeinheiten« bezeichnet werden können.”

Translation: “… the possibility exists to set up units for length, mass, time, and temperature, independent of special bodies or substances, keeping their meaning as necessary, for all times and for everyone, including even extraterrestrial and non-human cultures, and which therefore can become known as ‘natural units of measurement’."

 

Planck tried to create a natural system of units by setting the four universal constants: the speed of light, the gravitational constant, the quantum of action, now known as Planck’s constant, and Boltzmann’s constant, equal to one. The problem was that no quantum calculus consistent with the unitary quantum equivalence he had defined was established. Among the constants he used to establish quantum equivalence, only the speed of light was based on the basic elementary units of length (space) and time. The other constants involve compound non-quantum variables. The result was the production of quantum fractions that have no counterpart in stable physical reality.

Max Planck, much like his friend Albert Einstein, was a physicist first, and a mathematician only as needed to support his work in physics. He may have realized that establishing a consistent quantum calculus would require a complete redefinition of the fundamental operations of arithmetic, algebra, and the calculus of differentiation and integration, a truly daunting task for anyone to undertake!. Also, he may have been aware that there are no known general methods for solving the Diophantine equations that result from describing quantum reality in a mathematically consistent manner. The CoDD, is a quantum calculus developed from 1986 until 2015, with the help of Russian Mathematician Vladimir N. Brandon from 1997 until 2003, and the brilliant polymath, Dr. Vernon M. Neppe, from 2008 until 2015. The CoDD with truly natural units, fills the basic need for a quantum calculus appropriate to investigate the quantum reality underlying the world we experience.

The results of the application of the CoDD with 3-D quantum equivalence units to the mathematical expression for constant light speed, as discussed in the last post, reverses the illusion, caused by the limitations of our physical senses, that space/time and mass/energy are fixed. But, in a universe with no fixed universally prefered reference frame, wherein each measurement interacts with every other measurable variable at some level, focusing on one part of reality to understand it completely is like playing a game of “whack-a-mole”, or pulling on a thread in an endless mosaic: The act of measurement in one spot evokes an equal and opposite reaction somewhere else. The ultimate resolution of this dilemma is for the observer to become one with the whole of reality. That state of consciousness is what I have chosen to call Cosmic Consciousness.

However, while reality cannot be encompassed by expansion into the cosmos unless we achieve the ultimate goal of Cosmic Consciousness, because there is a “bottom” to reality at the quantum level, the subtle essence of reality can be cornered there, so to speak, at least momentarily, by gradually expanding individualized consciousness to include awareness of the building blocks of reality. This can be done consciously by developing the siddhis discussed in earlier posts, or it can be done mathematically by applying the quantum calculus (CoDD) to analyze the combination of two up quarks and one down quark to form the most stable object in all of physical reality, the proton. This application of TRUE analysis, done nearly a decade ago, resulted in the discovery of the existence of gimmel, the all-important non-physical component of the proton.

The physics and mathematics proving the existence of gimmel have been peer-reviewed and published in several places and referenced multiple times in previous posts. In my opinion, once the basic laws governing the physics of rotating objects spinning at near light speed are understood, the mathematics proving the existence of gimmel, the non-physical component of the proton, are not beyond that which a bright student of algebra at the high school or first-year college level can easily understand. However, I have promised to avoid mathematical notation and jargon as much as I possibly can in these posts, so I will do my best now to explain the analysis that resulted in the proof of the existence of the measurable non-physical component of reality in terms that I believe anyone can understand.

Eleven members of the family of 12 elementary objects known as quarks are all very unstable when not locked into combinations to form the hadron building blocks of physical reality and the elements of the periodic table. But when two of the smallest quarks, the most stable of the family, called up quarks, and one of the next larger quarks, the down quark, combine, they form the most stable known object in the universe, the proton. Application of the quantum calculus I call the Calculus of Dimensional distinctions (CoDD), with Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence (TRUE) analysis, to this combination reveals that the proton cannot possibly be stable without the existence of specific numbers of additional Triadic Rotational Units of Equivalence (TRUE) of something that cannot be either mass or energy.

The CoDD TRUE analysis provides the mathematical and physical explanation of the fact that stable subatomic objects and consequently the elements of the periodic table are formed exclusively by the combination of three elementary objects, not two, four, or any other number. Because the TRUE are defined by the mass and volume of the smallest stable elementary object, the free electron, the redefinition of the fundamental operation of addition in the new quantum calculus, is mathematically analogous to the combination of quarks forming the proton. This leads to a variety of clearer and mathematically simpler explanations of the quantum processes that form all of the stable structures of the physical universe.

Learning about reality is its own reward because knowledge is power, and knowledge of the structure, meaning, and purpose of reality leads to ultimate power over the negative forces of our dualistic existence on this planet. The pathway to this knowledge may be difficult, but, as Jesus said to his disciples:

“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

In future posts I plan to discuss how explanations derived from applications of the quantum calculus and spiritual siddhis lead to a deeper understanding of quantum reality that will allow us to learn how to consciously impact reality at the quantum level through positive intent, in ways that will be beneficial to all.

ABOUT AWAKENING

 

THE PROCESS OF AWAKENING

(This is a continuation of the discussion in the previous post)

For Your physical body, it appears that there is a definite beginning, and an unavoidable end. We call the beginning  birth, the end death, and your life is what happens in between. For you, as a conscious being, these experiences are extremely important. Between the two painfully traumatic events beginning and ending your life, you consciously experience an amazing range of emotions associated with pleasure and pain. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat are just two examples in the range of impactful emotions that we experience as human beings. During a life, you see only a brief episode - a short excerpt - of an on-going drama, through a tiny window of time in the vast history of sentient beings and the expanding physical universe within the self-referential cosmos. Viewing a life from a purely physical perspective, however, with your birth, life, and death, not much has happened. Nothing is created in the process of birth, and nothing is destroyed when death happens. These events simply mark a pair of life-defining events that, as physical events, are just two different arrangements of a very small amount of matter and energy in the ever-existing vast expanse of reality.

The way in which a relatively small number of elements are first organized as conscious life forms, and then disorganized and dispersed by natural entropic processes over which you have little or no control, makes the difference between your birth, life, and death as events in space and time. From that purely physical point of view, everything that happens during your lifetime, whether it takes a hundred years or a few minutes, is nothing more than a series of minor changes in the geometric structure of a few trillion atoms, with very little effect on the story of reality in general, consisting of the development, cyclic movements, and eventual disruption of solar systems and the formation and dissolution of galaxies over billions of years. But does physics tell the whole story? In a word, NO!

The innate desire of Primary Conscious to expand and contract and experience itself within itself, necessitates the development of mental and physical duality as individual awareness of the distinctions experienced as self and other. To guide the individual conscious being toward the ecstasy of Cosmic Consciousness, pleasurable sensations arise when actions that enhance the development and maintenance of organic life forms that are suitable vehicles for consciousness, are committed, and painful associations arise from actions that will result in injury to, or death of the physical vehicle being developed for expanding individual awareness.  

Sometimes, you may have the illusion of being in complete control of your life, but the amount of free-will you actually have is very limited. Do you remember deciding to be born? Can you choose not to die? By flapping your arms can you fly? By thinking in some focused manner, can you affect physical changes in your body?  Most of us, at this point in planetary time, barely out of the darkest of times, called the Kali Yuga (the dark age of mechanistic thinking) by the Ancient Wisemen, have no memory or foreknowledge of anything before birth or after death, and a very limited ability to change anything in between. And yet, there are some among us who, because they have a lot of money and some power over others, try to change the purpose and destination of the human species. In effect, they want to play God, without even beginning to be qualified.

This morning I had a fleeting memory of someone in the year 1317. He specifically pointed out the date, so I wouldn’t forget it upon waking. I’ve had such memories before. Most of them occurred during or after sleep or meditation. they seemed to be from the consciousness of someone in the past. Are these memories real glimpses of the actual past? Distant viewing in spacetime? Time travel? Evidence of reincarnation? Or imaginations caused by the random firing of synapses in a half-awake, half-asleep brain? - These are not trivial questions! For me, and I think for many others, they have to be asked.

Because I have had such memories throughout my entire life, I have thought about these questions a lot, and I have arrived at a number of conclusions. My conclusions are supported by logic and empirical evidence, validated in several instances by experiences and observations of other people, but I cannot include all of the arguments and evidence in this short blogpost. I can only summarize here; but I have provided the details in six published books, three additional books, one in press, two in colleague review, and in a number of published technical papers. Most of the information can be found among the 500 plus posts in the archives of this blogsite.

Basically, I have concluded that Consciousness is Primary, and the purpose of the physical universe is to provide a way for Consciousness to experience itself. Consciousness cannot be adequately assessed by the finite mind because it has no beginning or end, and the forms through which it expresses itself are constantly changing in accordance with the logical structure of Consciousness itself, progressing from simple to complex geometric patterns, to rudimentary awareness, through a spectrum of increasing awareness, to the full awareness of Cosmic Consciousness. While the progress of mental virtue and spiritual awareness, on average, proceeds at the slow pace of planetary time, individual conscious beings may forge ahead, go with the flow, or lag behind. Clearly, we should seek to forge ahead, and the best way  to do that here and now, is to seek the company of those who have attained Cosmic Consciousness.

A moment of Divine inspiration is worth many years of intellectual cogitation. Learning facts and knowing reality are not the same thing. There are vast differences between data, information, knowledge, understanding, actualization, manifestation, and realization. Consequently, at this point in planetary time, Realized Masters are very few and far between. Most of us labor in some form of unconsciousness or subconscious sleep. Those Awakened Ones, fully aware in the illumination of Cosmic Consciousness, are the way-showers, the embodiment of the Truth and the Light.

For the Awakened One, the is no longer any sleep. The body may sleep, but the soul is ever awake. There is no darkness. Every corner of the Awakened One’s consciousness is illuminated in Divine Light! Allow the Awakened One into your mind, and your body will be filled with Light. Allow the Awakened One into your heart, and you will be shown the path to your own awakening.
