THE AWARENESS OF IMPENDING EVENTS

SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN
Have you ever been aware that something extraordinary is about to happen? If so, then you know how exciting that can be. I’ve had that awareness many times in my life. Even as a very small child I felt a deep connection with nature, a mental link with plants and animals that made me feel as if they were about to speak to me in some way. This awareness of an impending breakthrough intensified with an awakening in 1952, when I stood on the bank of a farm pond in Texas County Missouri and heard the inward sound of silence. Along with sensing the flow of the energy in the atoms making up the world around me, I saw a subtle glow emanating from my surroundings and felt life pulsing in everything. It was both an awakening, and an awareness that something wonderful was about to happen.

I had been inspired by reading about Albert Einstein’s paper: “On the electrodynamics of moving objects”, the special theory of relativity. I was a teenager living on my parents’ farm. I walked out into the field that night, stood on the pond bank, looked up into the stars and expressed my desire to know. Very suddenly, it was as if a switch had been thrown, and normal sight and hearing was switched off, and an inner expansion of those senses was turned on. That was when I decided I had to study physics.

I didn’t have to learn mathematics, it was as if I simply remembered algebra and geometry. And languages also came easily. Education, for me, came from within. A few years later, David Stewart, who had been my college roommate, sent me some books published by Self-Realization Fellowship. I read “The Holy Science” by Sri Yukteswar and “The Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda and learned what my experience of the “sound of silence” was. My initiation into the practice of Kriya Yoga in 1960, allowed me to integrate the teachings of Elijah, Christ, Krishna, Buddha, Mohammed, Kabir, Lao Tzu: the roots of Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Sufism and the Tao. Earning degrees in mathematics, physics and environmental engineering, I was a research hydrogeologist by day, taught meditation classes and wrote by night and on weekends. My first book, “The Book of Atma” was published in 1977. A few years before that, I had met Jacqui, who became my helpmate. I had had many instances of mental telepathy with David Stewart, who became a life-long friend, but the deep connection was intensified with Jacqui, my soulmate.

Waking from a vivid dream in 1986, in which I saw a pebble drop into a golden pool of water. As the waves spread out in all directions, I saw the theories of relativity and quantum physics integrated by the inclusion of consciousness in the equations of physics. I wrote non-stop for several days. That awakening happened at 1:11 AM, January 16, 1986, in Jeddah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the gateway to Mecca and Medina, the Holy Cities of Islam. My second book “Infinite Continuity”, published in 1990, was the result.

I was never much of a joiner or participator in social organizations. I did not want to be a member of a fraternity in college. I was automatically inducted into Kappa Mu Epsilon, the National Honorary Mathematics Society because of my grades. Self-realization Fellowship was an exception. I joined SRF to receive the Kriya. Like most students planning to go to grad school, I took the Graduate Record Exam. My score on the GRE made me eligible for membership in MENSA, which I joined in 1982. And, in 2008, I applied for membership in the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry, an ultra-high-IQ society because I wanted to find a research partner, someone with impeccable credentials, someone who would be capable of understanding why I wanted to integrate science and spirituality. Why? Because no one seemed to be interested in my ideas. Dr Vernon Neppe, a world-renowned psychiatrist and neuroscientist, turned out to be that research partner. He had joined ISPE for the very same reason; he wanted someone with an academic background in mathematics and pohysics to work with. As with David and Jacqui, I began to experience frequent telepathic connections with Vernon, and our philosophical and scientific ideas meshed remarkedly well. From 2008 until the present, we have worked diligently developing the new science and spirituality paradigm we call the Triadic Dimensional Vortical Paradigm, a comprehensive mathematical system of thought that explains nearly everything.

In 2010, I was privileged to be part of an expedition sponsored by Young Living Essential Oils to film a documentary film on the Frankincense Trail in Egypt and Jordan. Vernon and I had been collaborating for two years by telephone, Skype and email, but had not yet met in person. Once Young Living had set the dates, and I had my airline tickets from St. Louis to Cairo, I told Vernon that I would be out of touch for several weeks. He replied that It was not a problem because he and his wife Lis were going back to their native South Africa at the same time. In the past, I had always flown to the Middle East through Frankfurt Germany, but this time I was going through Amsterdam. Vernon and Lis had already made their reservations and were going to be in Amsterdam the same day I was! They were staying in the Hilton in downtown Amsterdam, and I would have a 9-hour lay-over. We would be able to spend several hours together!

Vernon recorded most of our conversations that day, as we talked about our TDVP theories. We talked about the fact that the quarks that form protons and neutrons, the basis of all of the natural elements that make up the universe combine triadically, i.e., in threes. As time grew short, and I was boarding the tram to return to the airport, I remarked: “I can prove that up-quarks and down-quarks have to combine triadically using Fermat’ Last Theorem!” That was the beginning of a string of mathematical proofs that, along with experimental data, raise TDVP from a theory to a real paradigm shift. More than 50 discoveries have ensued, and almost every day, we have the expectation that something extraordinary is about to happen!

SYNCHRONICITY

SUPER SYNCHRONICITY

I’m currently reading Dr. Gary E. Schwartz’s new book SUPER SYNCHRONICITY, Where Science and Spirit Meet, a book which is, in my opinion, a very important contribution to human thought, science and our understanding of reality in general. In Chapter 5, Dr. Schwartz talks about the synchronous occurrences involving ravens in the life of Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell, and in his life just before and after he met Dr. Powell. The story is an excellent example of how what seems like a unique random occurrence can trigger sequences of seemingly unrelated events that have one thing in common …in this case, ravens.

At the first meeting of the Academy for the Advancement of Postmaterialist Sciences, at Canyon Ranch near Tucson, Arizona in August 2017, before I had read Super Synchronicities, I was seated next to Dr. Powell. She and I had never met before.  It turns out that Dr. Powell and I are both alumni of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore Maryland. At this meeting, including the founders of the Academy, there were 12 members seated in a circle. As we went around the circle, introducing ourselves and expressing our interest in the hypothesis that consciousness may be fundamental, or even primary in workings of the universe, the raven connection, detailed in Super Synchronicity, was mentioned. It struck a resonating chord with me immediately.

THE GREAT PYRAMID
In February and March of  2010, I was part of an expedition to the Middle East to film a documentary about the Frankincense Trail, an ancient caravan trail that stretches from what is present-day Oman, at the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula, to the Holy Land, Syria and Egypt. We filmed in Egypt and Jordan. While filming in the desert south of Cairo in Egypt, we were able to have the Great Pyramid on the Giza Plateau to ourselves for a few hours one day. After visiting the Sphinx, we walked up the hill to the great Pyramid. And, after taking a few pictures with friends in the expedition, I looked up at the great Pyramid. To my surprise, there were three large black birds circling the apex of the pyramid. They were ravens.

This may not have been too strange, but I had never seen ravens, or any other birds circling like that in any pictures, videos or films of the pyramids, and a very unusual experience that occurred in the “Queen’s Chamber” a short time later, convinced me that seeing those birds was no accident. Were they a warning? Or an important portent? You decide.

A SPINNING BALL OF LIGHT
Shortly after a group of twenty of us had entered the Queen’s Chamber, the lights were turned off. We were told ahead of time that this would be happen. It was done, they said, so that we could experience the complete darkness in the heart of the Great Pyramid. As an experienced spelunker (I had explored hundreds of caves) I knew very well what absolute Darkness was like. Someone began chanting Om, and soon, it sounded as if everyone had joined in. The sound swelled and reverberated sharply from the bare stone walls of the Queen’s Chamber. It was very pleasant. But then, a few seconds before the lights were turned back on, something happened that I will never forget:

A spinning ball of light came out of the southeast corner of the chamber and struck me on the forehead. I immediately lost all sense of balance, and began to feel the turning of the earth on its axis, the orbiting of the earth around the sun, and a third rotation: that of the galaxy whirling in the blackness of space, and then, sick with extreme vertigo, I lost consciousness”.

Two men who happened to be on either side of me, seeing that I was falling, grabbed me by the arms, preventing me from falling headlong onto the stone floor, and helped me to the entrance of the passageway between the Queen’s Chamber and the Grand Gallery, and one of them went for help. My body was carried out of the Pyramid by our Egyptian guide Fergany, and one of his assistants. When we reached the juncture between the low passageway into the Queen’s Chamber and the Grand Hall leading up to the :”King’s Chamber, we were met by Josef, the youngest son (I think about 7 or 8 years old at the time) of Gary and Mary Young, the organizers of the expedition, who placed his hand on my chest and prayed for my recovery. I threw up, and passed out again,

I was in and out of bodily awareness several times before they deposited my body on the stone just outside the entrance known as the “Robber’s Tunnel” created by force around 820 AD. What happened between periods of sickened consciousness was remarkable: One time, I seemed to be out of my body, far above the Great Pyramid, as if I were seeing it from a point near the peak, hovering in mid-air. But, the bus parking lot had disappeared, and there were trees and green grass all around, and the pyramid was blazing white with a gold capstone! Another time, I was seeing the faces of many people, coming and going, speaking to me in a mixture of languages, interspersed with lights and symbols of many kinds. And, at one point, there were bird symbols, and I remembered seeing the ravens.

Most of the members of the expedition, with the possible exception of the filming crew and the Egyptian guides, were practitioners of traditional and alternative health care modalities, and several of them came to my aid, for which I am eternally grateful. A doctor and a nurse accompanied me back to the hotel, were I had to be transported to my room on a golf cart, because I still could not walk.

THE ANCIENT CITY OF PETRA
The next day, we flew to Amman, Jordan and then traveled by bus to the modern city of Petra, located at the entrance to the narrow canyon leading into the ancient city of Petra, about 150 miles south of Amman. I was able to walk, but each time I closed my eyes, I would experience vertigo and begin to see more faces and hear voices. Fearing that I would become violently ill again, I ate nothing on the trip and struggled all day to keep my eyes open. I told no one what I was experiencing.

One of the men who kept me from falling in the Pyramid, sought me out in Petra and asked me if I had seen the flash of light that occurred just before I passed out. I had told no one about the experience of the light, or anything else, except to explain that I definitely had not suffered from claustrophobia or heat exhaustion, which was what most of the people in the group theorized. I had felt fine before and after entering the Pyramid, and all of the time up until I suddenly passed out. Later, another member of the group also mentioned seeing the ball of light hit me. So, I knew that the experience was not totally subjective.

As a scientist, I had to ask: What was the meaning of this strange experience? There were aspects of the experience that were very hard to explain or understand. Why had this happened to me? Had I traveled back in time several thousand years, and seen the Pyramid as it existed then? Was I seeing the faces and hearing the voices of the people who built the Pyramid? Did anyone else have such an experience?

I did a survey of the expedition members after we got home, and found that while a few had unusual experiences, no one else reported experiencing anything similar to what I went through. While I had been excited about going into the Pyramid, I certainly had not expected anything like that, and would not want to experience it again, because it was very unpleasant. Was it just a freak discharge of static electricity, and I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? Was it a meaningless random event?

WHAT IS RANDOMNESS?
As a physicist and mathematician, I have long known that there is no such thing as a random event. We exist in a mathematically ordered universe, and an event that seems to be random only appears so because we are not seeing the whole picture. Statistical analysis and probability theory are designed to enable us to handle things that appear to be random, in a logical manner, but scientifically, they are no more than theories, and theories that are built on very shaky grounds at that!

But what about things like flipping coins, opening a book without thinking about it and reading a random passage? No, sorry, not random. Just because you are not thinking about what you are doing, doesn’t mean the universe isn’t. What about random number generators? A sequence of numbers produced by a program is not random, because the program was created by someone thinking about how to avoid the value of number n+1 being related to number n or n+2.

What about numbers generated by a natural process like radioactive decay? No, they’re not truly random either, they are effects of a complex process that we can’t readily predict. What about the Heisenberg uncertainty principle? Is there true randomness at the quantum level? With the discovery of gimmel, the third form of reality, we can answer no, that does not introduce true randomness either.

The current dictionary definition of a random number generator, found online, is instructive:

“A random number generator is a computational or physical device designed to generate a sequence of numbers or symbols that cannot be reasonably predicted better than by a random chance.

Notice two things: 1) First, a  definition that uses a word that is in what it is supposed to be defining is no definition. 2) Something that is “designed” to generate randomness, cannot produce a truly random sequence. The sequence is non-random by virtue of the fact that it was produced by design.

RANDOMNESS AND FREE WILL
My grandfather used to say: “What is to be will be, if it never comes to pass”! When I was about 9 years old, I asked him what it meant. He said:

“Well, boy, I reckon nothing ever happens by accident. After something happens, however unlikely it might have seemed before it happened, you can always see why it happened after it happens.”

This gave me something to think about for days. But, after the experience in the Pyramid, I eventually came to understand that time is not what we think it is. When identified with a physical body, we have only the moment at hand. The past exists for us only as memories stored in the brain, and the future exists only as imagination. We only have direct access to the present. But this is because the body, with its very limited physical senses, is a super reduction valve.

When freed of the bodily limitations, and awake in pure consciousness, we can experience past, present and future, all at the same time.

Do we have free will? Yes, but not as much as we sometimes think we do.

Did I travel back in time to the time of the Pharaohs? No. The nature of time is such that no traveling is necessary; it is all present in the multi-dimensional eternal now.

SOLVING THE MYSTERIES OF SPACE, TIME AND CONSCIOUSNESS WITH THE RUBIK'S CUBE

SOLVING THE MYSTERIES OF REALITY WITH RUBIK’S CUBE
Introducing a Trilogy of Discussions about TDVP*
©Edward R. Close, April 22, 2017

1.       SOLVING THE MYSTERIES OF THE COSMOS WITH A RUBIK’S CUBE
2.       SOLVING THE MYSTERIES OF QUANTUM PHYSICS WITH A RUBIK’S CUBE
3.       SOLVING THE MYSTERIES OF LIFE WITH A RUBIK’S CUBE

WHY THE RUBIK’S CUBE?
It turns out that the Rubik’s Cube is a perfect geometric model of nine-dimensional reality at the cosmological, quantum and consciousness scales! It has nine planes of rotation representing the nine dimensions of finite reality. Three principles are involved:
1. The Principle of Symbolic Representation
2. The Principle of Symmetric Resonance
3. The Principle of Synchronous Relativity

THE PRINCIPLE OF SYMBOLIC REPRESENTATION:
All phenomena are nothing more than symbolic representations of Reality that occur in three finite forms, describable with three symbolic variables:

1. Variables of Extent: three sets of three dimensions
2. Variables of Content: mass, energy and consciousness
3. Variables of Intent or meaningful information: existential, conceptual and imaginary

THE PRINCIPLE OF SYMMETRIC RESONANCE
There are three forms of symmetric resonance:

1. Mass: elementary particles, atomic elements and the universe
2. Energy: photonic, electric and magnetic
3. Consciousness: individual, group and cosmic

The nine finite dimensions are embedded in an infinite substrate of pure consciousness. This allows all phenomena to resonate, maintaining a perfect symmetric balance as a whole. Symbolic representation of the interaction of the three forms of symmetric resonance in TDVP invokes the Principle of Synchronous Relativity.

THE PRINCIPLE OF SYNCHRONOUS RELATIVITY
The symmetric resonance of Reality as a whole requires synchronous interaction between all phenomena: Asymmetries present in any observational distinction drawn by an individualized conscious entity in less than nine-dimensions is immediately balanced by complementary asymmetries in other dimensions of the holistic nine-finite-dimensional domain. The manifestation of Reality observed by an individualized conscious entity is thus incomplete and relative to the dimensional framework available to that individual.

There are three levels of synchronous relativity:

1. Physical
2. Mental
3. Spiritual

IMPLICATIONS OF THE THREE PRINCIPLES
The mathematical logic of the holistic synchronous nature of Reality requires that time and consciousness, like space, are three-dimensional. The nine orthogonal planes of the Rubik’s cube provide appropriate symbolic representations of the nine dimensions of cosmic reality, quantum reality and spiritual reality. During the year (2017) I plan to present a series of lectures and workshops using Rubik’s cubes to describe cosmic, quantum and spiritual reality. I will keep you informed.

The following is a new addition to the IQNexus feature article by Neppe and Close posted in this blog a few days ago.
Finite-infinite
The continuous infinite “super-reality” is directly inaccessible. However, components of it are mirrored in the finite discrete subreality. These are not separate because the finite is embedded in the infinite. Therefore, the finite in the infinite is not dualistic, like separate minds and bodies, or separate souls and physical beings, but reflects a “one-ness” that is inseparable. Infinity cannot be ignored. We postulate through TDVP, that the essential concepts of life and existence, and of multidimensional order, and of choice, might possibly all reflect different levels of the finite or infinite.
We’re like a finite land contained in an unending ocean in the infinite. The infinite has a different quality. There is no beginning and no end to space, to time and to the infinite repository of information. And this information translates into meaningful consciousness. And yet in the finite, everything manifests as discrete pieces of reality —quanta 202. The infinite is like water from an unending ocean impacting on the large land pieces and manifesting as specific meaningful molecules of H2O.
For us, we experience this finite subreality as small incomplete pieces of the jigsaw puzzle of our specific 3S-1t. This is limited through our restricted physical reduction valves. Components of this puzzle involve a consensual reality with others (such as seeing broadly the same sports game on television). Other parts are intensely personal and idiosyncratic (even our interpretation of that same sports game).
Yet, the infinite is pervading all Time and all Space, and potentially providing targeted intentioned, impactful, influential, interactive meaning and purpose in everything in the finite. In this way, the infinite is not a “virtual” reality: The infinite is as much a reality as our finite objects, yet we cannot conceive of most of it, and it is always influencing us at any moment. Moreover, we can change our fate and action, if only slightly, in the context of our little personal reality in that vast unending ocean. These are imprinted in that infinite super-reality, but only in the tiny portion that we’re directly involved in, although we may have greater, broader influences, like vortical ripples in a pond.
We, in 3S-1t, could phenomenologically interpret the unification of finite with infinite realities, and their linkage with gimmel, with Carl Gustav Jung’s concept of synchronicity 203. This is so in that, we, the experients, would be in a particular state of consciousness, when suddenly, something “intrudes” from another "dimension" altogether. This connects the initial state of that particular “something” in space and time, to an object, perhaps a thought, a symbol, or even a dream, that binds that state together with the second thought or symbol. Accompanying this linkage of the consciousness content, is the realization of the “magical” bond like a feeling of the infinite, or of a very important concept in psi research 204, like a blast of the "numinous". The numinous awareness stands out allowing the perception, interpretation, conceptualization and comprehension of two seemingly disparate events, things, thoughts or objects. They become actually joined meaningfully, in this instance, in our 3S-1t reality, which because of the consciousness is likely a 3S-1t-1C or 2C or 3C type experience. The likely unifier is the infinite flow of consciousness information (gimmel) translated and communicated across dimensions through vortical indivension into meaningful numina in 3S-1t [1]. For those in 3S-1t, the synchronicity is “acausal”—it appears without a cause, but that is just relative to 3S-1t, and, indeed, the linkage is more obvious at higher dimensional levels.

[1]  Numinous is a term deriving from German theologian Rudolf Otto in 1917, and embraced by Jung.  The numinous experience  has a sacred personal quality experienced as a communion with a “wholly Other”. Numina areintense, divine-like and transcendent,  with the tendency to invoke fear and to attract, fascinate and compel. They also might imply an easier psi target because they would stand out in such activities as “remote viewing”.
